We love to hear this by the Daily Mail....

I'll believe it when I see it!

That said, quattro season can't come soon enough :cold:

I don't beleive much I hear from that esteemed organ.

A more typical Daily Mail headline for this would surely be "Foreign bodies fall from sky.....and lower house prices." *

Hopefully we dont get snow in October, it has been bad enough the last two winters. I should have been a meteoroligist, there the only people i know who continue to get paid even when there wrong so often.

Hehe, too right Sandra! Let's hope they've got it wrong yet again. This will be my first Winter with Quattro, but don't want it to snow any earlier on in the year, just so I get to try it out. xx

I so hope we dont get snow to early. You will understand better than most Paullie, you got it worse than us down here in the ayrshire coast.

Im just glad I got rid my Merc and got the A3 in time for the Snow. Rear wheel drive is terrible for it!

Yeah, my last car sat in the drive for around 3 months last Winter without turning a wheel, ..hence I got the Audi in January. It's not happening again. lol! xx

It could be worse.

This could be the BMW owners forum.

They must be pooing their pants at this news!

haha, thats what i had a thought about today, would smaller wheels be ok when my normal ones are 18's. where can i get some from

looks like its coming up to the best time to own 17's! :)
hmmm i was thinking of getting 18s and selling the 17s so this might also be a good time for that?

last snow (early this year) my car was stuck on the drive for over a week buried in it!
Dads E-class merc was stuck on a thick patch for 3 days just because he had no grip and couldnt get it out of the snow... then again the weight of that car on rear wheel drive is just silly.

i scraped the side off so you can see how my A3 was turned into a Q5!

Most snow tyres are 16". Pick some up so that the profile matches your original wheels.

You just got to love audi.
