2008 S3 DRL Bulbs

Hello, just bought these bulbs to replace my DRL bulbs with LED ones, and these bring up the bulb out error on the dash.

Can anyone recommend ones they have used before hassle free?

Ok, well tried 6ohm resistor in series, still a fault, someone must be of some help?

I'll have a look for the resistors I used, or do a search for the DRL thread, there was someone in there that had non-error ones.

I think I used 50ohm resistors at 25w

These are the ones i used in my car : MTEC P21w 382 (1156) CHROME SUPER WHITE BULBS *PAIR* | eBay

I have sold on the bulbs until I find some drl's that work. However replaced side lights with some led's and no error there.

That link I put up has ones that work without resistors somewhere in it, and no errors. I jumped the gun a bit and ordered the resistor ones before I got to the second page where the straight swap ones were.

After weeks of messing about with LED's & DIS errors I finally manned up and bought a set of the MTEC as per the above link. Just fitted them and they look so much better

after having a few issues with those lights i gave up and the seller (Hids-Direct) agreed to swap me over to LEDs and then i just got a resistor kit which now works perfectly and looks even better!
