The "Rimz" Thread ** Look here before requesting pics of specific wheels**

LMs were never made for an A3 fitment .you will struggle getting them .Why not buy my 9j Genuine BBS Speedlines ?£700 bargin

Because I saw a mk4 golf with the same set up and it looked truely amazing!

Howdy Guys,

Quick Question please - Is the 3.2 Quattro available in the US the same as the S3 Wheel Spec Wise please?

I would like to Import wheels and the Guys can Guarantee they will fit a US Spec 3.2 SB But not my S3 as they do not have the S in the US...

Thank you in advance!

Of course they will fit your S3 if they will fit an A3 3.2.

Few more of the Maybachs.Coilovers are ordered.

Well I am looking at some OZ racing wheels. I will be sure to put up some pictures one I have imported them :)

Any one got photos of A3/S3 3door on BBS CK II (forged split rim) Seen them on a 8P3 S3 Sportback in Sprint blue.
Wanted to see how they look on a 3door.

Finally I have my Ultras and my H&R Monotube suspension. But i think i´ll setup the suspension a little bit higher....

It is good, i like it. I was afraid that it would be very hard, but it is not. It is just a little bit harder than the OEM suspension i think just the bigger rims make it feel more harder. I´m very happy about it, because i want to drive as comfortable as possible.
I didn´t made a testdrive on the autobahn yet, but i will do that on the weekend. Than i can say something about the performance of the suspension.

Ta :)

I dunno about you but heavy wheels can be felt. But for show purposes it's no thing.

It's not really in the static kerb weight, rotating weight has huge effect in comparison (3-5x). Changing direction on something rotating that is heavy takes more effort. The car feels heavier.

In addition you really wanna keep unsprung weight down too (hence S3s having alloy hubs and lower arms).

As you say though most don't care, and if I cared enough I'd switch back to Speedlines from my Mercs ;)

High off set is better than a stupidly low one. I lied, id also swap for helios. Love them!

Just use bolt on spacers and original bolts.

25mm front, 30mm rear? Job done.
