Twin grille in black??

I've got a 2004 S-Line in Akoya Silver with the twin grille. Currently debating whether to change the chrome surrounds to black and leave the rings chrome....

I've seen a few on different coloured motors but unsure how it'd look on mine, anyone got any pics of theirs in same colour?

Also, what would be better, vinyl or satin black spray?

Buy the black badges from eBay or Audi, I've had my grille painted and it hasn't chipped but some people say get them vinyled

Il be painting up my chrome in satin black.
If it chips - il just re-paint it..

I tried this! I got the grille off, but couldnt for the life of me get the chrome surround off, all the clips just kept snapping, so i gave up and put it all back together

I just wish i had the B***s to attempt this, looking at the viynal wrapped chrome trim and the number plate bitty they look real good.

Get a used one like I did and damage the black plastic section instead of the chrome part!
