So I thought I'd start a thread to show my favourite ASNers my new car

However the previous owner decided that, after looking after the car really well, he'd give it to the £5 a wash people... And they ruined the paintwork, so I now have to get a heavy paint correction done :(

So today we gave it a good clean and hand polish

It came out pretty well, but it's still needs a lot of work.

And the noise;

Plus it's the quickest thing I've ever been in or driven, I haven't been brave enough to turn the ESP off yet... So unbelievably quick!

It's 466 brake
With 3 inch downpipes
Milltek
Uprated arbs
Black optics from factory

I haven't managed to clear the s3's space on the drive yet though ;)

What dya think then?

Welcome to -20 mpg Dane But God ISNT IT WORTH EVERY PENNY......!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh... My... Siht! That's absolutely gorgeous! Would like a poke around this up at ADI

Welcome to the b5 clan Dane. I too will be lookin forward to seeing it at CC :)

Thanks for the kind words chaps!

The intimidation is starting to wear off now so I'm getting to grips with it nicely.

Scotty I'll post up in the b5 section tomorrow mate

Tuffty I'm there mate.

Tak it's an evil monster not a hearse! Lol

Dave there's no worries, I'm going to be the slowest moving thing on the track! But I think it will be really good to help me get to know the car better.

S3 bam it's not even that bad mate, I averaged 23.8 on the back road way home from Essex and got to Bath and back on a quarter of a tank. So I'm very impressed in that respect.

I want to try and sort out a bit more induction noise, all I can hear is v6 and no turbo noises, I've rescued my water meth from the s3's boot so that can go in :) needless to say I've got a lot more plans as soon as my wallets recovered somewhat lol

POP over have a listen at mine when u get five

Sounds like a fxxxxng rocket ship lol...

Do u plan to break the 500..............?????

I get about 180 to a tank in mine

Prob with that Audi's they r soo well built u do forget how fast they are after a while

Pete.

Fair play Dane, only only wish I could afford one of these, not a fan of the wheels myself prefer the standard 18's, and I'd want to decrome the trim around the windows but thats my opinion and its your car, (very jealous too)

Planning on putting your newest wheels on it (with adaptors obviously)?

Get a heatshield made up and get a nice huuuge cone on there. ITG and Pipercross do some pretty big cones or get Bill to order up the biggest Jetex/Green you can squeeze in the gap lol, then it should sound pretty epic!

The next question is who to look after it.....

Mrc or Dialynx...

Not much between them to be honest

Keith at Dialynx did all the work on mine great service and highly regarded in the quattro world....

One thing I would say Dane if yours hasn't had the harder camshafts fitted yet keep an eye on them as its a hefty bill....!!!

W3STY.. that's what I like about mine its a converted Noggy Saloon.....

Chopper that's the plan mate, although with the current wheels it does break up all the black a little bit.

Jason, I was planning on it but they aren't very wide in rs4 world, they're as wide as the standard oem ones. I have them to as the guy threw them in when I bought the car, plus I'd have to run the car pretty low to get it to look right. They are oem b7 ones and the tyres are 265's so there is an advantage to running them with the extra tyre width. I think I want 18x9 or 9.5's just to. Keep the same tyre width but reduce the diameter to bring the cost down a wee bit, I do agree though they arent my favourite wheels but they aren't that bad.

Pete, that's very kind mate, when are you free? I'd love to take it further, first will be the standard coilies, Wagner smics, WMI. And then I'll think, I DONT want hybrid turbos so if I take it further than that it'll have to be something like a gt28, but I can't even start to think about how expensive all of that would be lol.

Il pm u my mobile number on afternoons so any morning or weekend if I'm around

I work on Staverton at Ge Aviation (propellers) may take mine out for a run today

I'm running RS6 hybrids with Porsche internals on mine and yes u wouldn't want to no how much they cost....!!!

And a huge Pace custom fmic

Pete.

RS4 defo one of my wishlist cars.

Nice purchase mate looks very nice and am sure it goes very quickly :)

He's a young man, he shouldn't be driving an estate! He might as well have got a Volvo :moa:

oy dont you dislike my posts:moa: lol i like yours lol

the avant is way more sexy, and more practical, he can tune it without the worry that he will need a bigger car in the future therefore spend big monies :)
