front bumpers

i'm trying to find an S3 front bumper (along with a few others) for my 08 a3 and have been offered one but the guy bought a bumper off e-bay for his A8 and this turned up ? (coughs * bullsh1t) but whatever i want one he's got one , but it looks like an s-line one to me i got part number (8p08074378) that doesn't make any sense and he's not 100% sure.
so question : whats the difference between s-line and S3 ????

from what i can tell the S3 has 3 supports on the little chin spoiler bit and the s-line has 2 ?

yeah not an S3 one. Think thats just a standard one.

S3 the lip is a different colour and fog light area also different. And 3 vertical bar at the bottom

Edit: There a thread some where on here that some one did explaining and showing the difference between all the bumpers on the 8P3.

LMFAO if you wanted to get a new bumper surely you would know what it looked like first ?
seems like people want new bumpers on here because they HERE there better looking ? That bumper pictured is an 8p3 standard bumper

i know it looks better, but what i didn't know was whether it was just different fog light inserts ect or if the chin spoiler was changeable the differences are very subtle and i thought i just ask as i know very little about audi's and modding cars.

yeah look like standard on the new style a3 8p3 ( they look like the 8p2 sline ones )

It's a 2008 sportback and it has the indicators in the mirrors , I think it's a facelift ?

ok it will be then. that bumper is the one you have already. the slines have a difuser in the middle and it bulges out over the fogs.

Sline

sport/ normal notice no lip above the fogs

s3 look round the fogs again surrounds are diffrent and the lip above is diffrent. think the lower splitter is as well

just read your sig so you know waht the rear s3 looks like but not the front ?

Thanks for that , yep I worked out the difference between the s-line and the S3 back bumper all by myself ! Lol ( got the part numbers from lingy)
Just couldn't work out if the front bumper was the same and just had different parts on it , but now I do
