Another day, another wedding for me to attend! I was actually invited to 3 different Chinese weddings in the last 3 weeks, but only managed to attend 2 of them!

So after the first one linked below,

http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/general-chat/128529-10-course-meal-anyone-pic-heavy.html

This is how it should be done, not cut backs, food tasted good and portions was a plenty! :yum:

Just to show a different class, this restaurant came with a list of what's to come!

Roast Piglet(Whole), This is how it should be, a whole pig! We don't eat the head or feet(I call them 'the foot and mouth!' lol), they are just there for show usually... Skin was crispy this time, and lots of lean meat underneath!

Stuffed Crabclaws, these speak for themselves really, and we dip them in vinegar instead of sweet and sour sauce.

Mixed Seafood in a Bird's Nest, again, a larger portion, and the nest itself was edible, we cleaned this one up!

Lobster in Ginger & Spring Onion, everyone got half a lobster each here! The hosts know how to treat us proper! nomnomnom :yum:

Sharkfin, Chicken and Crabmeat soup, 'ying yang' style, just means the soup is 2 tone in colour.

Deep fried Duck with Yam stuffing, this was a bit over ****** and dry, but we still ate it all! lol

Abalone and Duck's feet. I just attacked the veg in this dish, didn't fancy the rest.

Steamed Turbot Fish, Traditional Chinese people love steamed fish, my mum ****** it for me twice a week in my younger years, so I'm not too much of a fan, so left it to the other's to finish it off.

Sticky Rice with diced preserve meats, the carbs at the end again, I had a large scoop of this one!

'Yee' Noodles, the second of the carbs, always served alongside the stick rice! Another one I quite like!

And that's the 10 main courses over, now for the desserts!

There was no plate of fruit, just a plate of Grapes, which I didn't take a pic of.

Cookies, these are traditional ones made for weddings.

Mango Pudding

Coconut and Sago Dessert served hot, this is a classic, and pretty much everyone had 2bowls of this stuff despite being stuffed!

And there we have it!

BUUUUURP!

Thanks for that Joe, looks amazing and now im hungry.

Wow i cannot believe you guys put down 10 courses in one sitting! our 'Indian' weddings are long and expensive but the food is spread out over the whole duration of the wedding in more 'normal' meal portions.

It all looks lovely and makes me hungry,

But "shark fin soup" :(

wow jojo, what was the mango pudding like? looks like sliced mango
