Sorry I just need to correct myself as I had an early morning (for a saturday) divvy moment, I meant to say that your tyres would have less of a stretch than my tyres, not more! As you've got half inch narrower wheels the tyres will fit the rim with less stretch. Vred's do have a more square sidewall than say falkens what I'm running, I used to have the vred's on my old e46 m3.Turn the wheel onto full lock and jack the front up to see if your tyres are catching on thr suspension spring or spring seat on the shock, the standard suspension springs are bigger in width than coilovers so there could be a possibility that they are just fouling each other, it's unlikely but worth a look. Whilst your under there have a look around the inside of the arch liner to see if there are any visible rubbing marks. There is a plastic screw on the inside edge of the arch which holds the arch liner up, that plastic screw does stick out a bit and the top of the tyre can catch on that sometimes too.
