Guys I am sur most people are the same here, you like to care for motor, and like me I bet when you go shopping in Tesco's or wherever you always park as far away as possible as there are so many inconsiderate people who just like to fling there door open onto yours!!!
But still when you come back, you always find at least one car next you in your deserted area!!

Well today i found two door knock dents on my drivers side, which i only just noticed after giving her a good clean. It is one of those ones, "hard to notice but when caught at a certain angle it feels like your car has been written off situations"!!!

Well it has happened now, and I suppose there are more important things in life, like perhapes Arsenal winning something again and stop knicking my money every season(My season ticket money could go on a few more mods)!! Lol. Seriously though, anyone know of a decent dents remover guy or firm who charge a reasonble price in the north london area? I have had a couple of estimate quotes for about £160!!

Any recommandations lads and girls?

Thanks

I used to go to an out of town tesco but had the same heart breaking problem. Since i bought the S3 i have not left it in a supermarket car park. i now use local shops for most of my shopping. If i need to use a supermarket i go to the local waitrose at half past seven, it shuts at Eight and is half empty. strange thing is the car park is only ever a quarter full at that time and usually of very nice quality cars, often driven by blokes so i honestly think my idea is not unique. I try and park next to a 911 or another Audi...that helps.
You just have to plan ahead :)

May have to take your advise Paddy, unless next time I go shopping I can borrow your baby!! Haha

I have used these guys before and would highly recommend them.

Excel-Dents - Dent Removal and Dent Repair specialists in Aylesbury Bucks Buckinghamshire

I need to pay them another visit after like you I came home from the weekly shop to find an annoying extra that wasn't on my shopping list!

Try mentioning that you heard about them through an Audi forum as I was first put onto them by the TTOC (Audi TT Owners Club) and received great service and a discount.

Cheers Chris for the info, but Aylesbury may be a bit too far for me, I am more north London, a406 way. But I will keep them in mind. Cheers fella.

They might be still worth a phone call.

Changing the subject....I'm quite tempted by your link for Cruise!!

Just park in the disabled bays (only taking the **** :) )

Mate, I have been tempted. Think I may just take the child seat from now on and park in parents and child space. Lol

I park well away from everyone else when at the supermarket. Yet the other day i came back to find this bus parked right next to me! What is it with people?!?

I park in the wheelchair bays with the cross-hatchings next to them, and a fooking blue rinser got out and banged her zimmer frame into the strip on my rear quarter the first week I got my car! I was right there, just getting into my wheelchair! Luckily my detailing guy spent afew hours and removed the damage about 99% (you can still see a slight mark in direct sunlight).. Worst thing is they always give me filthy looks when I pull up 'cos I'm young (ish! Lol) and driving a 3door BE they assume I'm able-bodied and just taking the pi$$ by parking there! Actually had one guy come up to my window and start having a go at me while my mrs was getting my chair out the boot, once he realised he just stormed off! Didn't even apologise!

Just take heart mate that you are better man than he ever will be. :)

This makes me furious. I always park right in the far corner out of the way and some idiot always has to park right next to me.

I went to Tesco last week and parked miles away, there wasn't a car near me and when I came out someone had dumped their Fiesta right next to mine so close that I had to squeeze to get into the car. There was a dirty mark on the door were they had rested the door on the car when they got out. Luckily no dent or scratch but I dread the day I come out and catch them doing it! I am not sure how I'll react :)

I feel for everyone here. I'm the same, wherever I go, I try to park as far away as possible yet u always get some dim parks next to you and on the line. Even at work, I always park in a bay where there is the garden bed to one side so at least i know one side will be safe and I tuck so close to that side that i leave a massive space on the driver side yet other drivers at work are obviously idiots who come and park close to me. WHY!!! just frikking park in the centre of your parking space and it will be all fine but noooo you have to f*king tuck your piece of S*itbox next to mine!!

Same thing happened to me, I cleaned the car the other day and I noticed the slightest smallest and lightest dent on my driver's door. I was heart broken :( you canonly see t from one angle and if there is enough light and im lucky its not a metallic colour and its yellow which helps but still i know its there. But im learning to move on as it happened to my WRX and to the Clio Sport so I suppose it is fact of life but I would still kill the person who did it three times before hitting the ground if I ever saw him/her.

Why can't normal drivers be as careful as us, it really doesnt take much does it.

Its the women that do this 90% of the time, they just dont understand...(not all women)
I had just bought my daughter a new car, and was mint i waited in the car in tescos, while she nipped in for some bits, a women parked right next to us in a brand new mini cooper and clouted the side of the car with her door, the hole ****** car shook, i wound the window down and said what the f*** are you playing at? and she just give me a filthy look and stormed off, i got out and saw a a big crease in the daughters car, and was proper mad, i leant on my daughters car and give the minis rear quarter a rugby ball dent, (wrong i know) but had to vent my anger, and the fact that she did not apologise, cost me £80 to repair....i think it would have cost the other woman a good few £££

I park over two bays as far away from everyone possible. but last week i still had a ticket. takes the **** trying to look after my car and get fined 60 quid so im disputing ut

I always park at the other end of the car park, where there are no cars, and park in the middle of 2 spaces.

TBH mate if you saw here do the damage you should have just insisted on taking her insurance or tell her you have taken her number and will report it to the police, take a couple of pictures as well if you have ya phone. If she refuses to give you details then she is in breach of the law anyway. Failing that just kill some of her children...they hate that these women :)

If it's from a supermarket carpark it won't be a council ticket so you can just bin it. Don't enter a discussion with them, it's an invoice and no matter how many letters you get you will never have to pay a penny.

Guys I think we should have a national holiday called "Don't F***ing Park Next To Me Day!!!"

@ s3dave, I would have loved to have seen that women's face when she returned!! Haha quality

Rightly so mate, fair play to you!!

Its that same feeling you get when you go to the loo, no one is there and then someone comes in and stands next to you! Why dont they go somewhere else? or maybe they just feel lonely

Sat in car in car park, waiting for the missus. White van pulls alongside and old gadgie in the passenger seat throws his door open smack into my passenger door. I jumped out to 'remonstrate' with him and his reply was 'It's only a f*****g car, mate!'

I had to fight to stop my hands from grabbing his throat extremely tightly! :sob:

It would have cost my daughter more hassle /££ to go through the insurance plus wheres the proof she did it? She was so stuck up her own *** to have kids, false tan/false hair/false nails type of woman, she would have got her banker boyfriend/pimp to get her a new car no doubt...

I had this once to me in on of my previous cars... i was parked in a public car park on the phone so i hadnt started the car to drive off...this red sparkling Seat Leon pulls up and the fatty in the rear seat opens her door and slam! felt like someone had just gone into me! i instantly got out and there was a great ding in my rear arch... I almost lost it! then when i started loosing it the fatty licks her fingers and tries to rub off the red paint left from the door off my black beauty!
I told her to get her hands off my car and demanded the drivers insurance details! needless to say i had the dent repaired in a couple weeks and the driver didnt really care as i quote "oh its just a company car anyway"
