hey folks,
is there anything on the market such as a shaped film or vinyl that you can place over your b7 rear clusters to give the impression of light pattern/shape given off by b8 rear lights/brakes on.i think i maybe read or saw someone had some.......or did i completely imagine it!!?????hope this makes sense!
please advise!:beerchug:

?????
how could film make the b7 lights look like b8 ?
you can get b8 style leds tor the B7 tho

suppose you could DIY it with paint/viynal to get the outlined rear light look, prob would look bit naff tho lad

so i did imagine it then.!!
watch this space for some product development!!!
i'll take some pics later to try and explain better what i mean.

yeah vinyl would be the easy option but as you say would look bit naff i reckon.currently researching clear one-way mirror film with the mirror side reflecting the brake light back onto itself and then back through the cluster thus giving the shape of the b8 light.i think.

sound gud lad, have a crack it if works well ya laughing if not youve not really lost anything

Would you get away with that for the MOT and more importantly coppers? You'd be losing loads of braking and driving light.

That looks kinda cool! Be interested to see how much of an impact it makes i.e. would it be legal.

It'd never be legal mate unfortunately, the lights aren't designed that way. It does look good though.

I did this years ago

there we go.knew i had seen it somewhere!!id argue it allows as much light out as the current b8's and any LEDs shaped in the same manner.still looking at the one-way mirror film option though.:icon_thumright:
