Who has been watching Dr Who? I think tonights episode is going to be really good. bbc1 at 7pm.

I confess to watching it...I blame the kids forcing me too :)
I've always liked it apart from when that mcCoy bloke did it

Jojo, there one good reason we watch it - and its ginger LOL

lol, come on Ewan, we all know Donna was the best dr's assistant. I not a great fan of Amy.

That was ok. I kinda expected it to be a bit scary, lol.

My 4yo daughter thinks Dr Who is the best - she will sit there transfixed for the whole programme.

I was concerned about it being too scary, but she sits on my lap and a gentle explanation is all that is needed.

But what a terrific programme - Saturday night is back at the top!

I couldnt agree more.

My kids used to enjoy Torchwood until an episode the other week which was OTT

This hasnt been a good series of torchwood this time, it has been over the top since episode 2, i can understand why the kids didnt enjoy
it jase.

Torchwood has been ok until the massive man on man loving the other week! Bums flying around everywhere. Previous series havent been this bad. Now he only has to wink and wear his coat and he`s got another man pinned against the wall with pants round ankles! wrong...

Doctor Who is lacking a bit this series and the first half a few months back. I like him as the doctor i just dont like the story and think its a little disappointing :(

Dr Who is goooood. It's our usual saturday evening tv. Torchwood is also good this series, but the gay scenes are just odd. They don't add anything to the story at all. Apparently one of them was edited for the uk too, as it was too much. I'm glad it was cut. But besides the gay stuff, it's a top program. (And that american bird is hot in it)

Enjoy the Dr myself too - as for Torchwood this American set series isn't a patch on the originals based in Cardiff.

Personally I think that they should have left it as was and not done this new series - still watching it though to see where it goes.

Hey crazy, Dr who is one of my fav programmes, good viewing for a saturday night. Torchwood is another fav, but im disappointed this
Series as you say the gay stuff was unwarranted to the storyline.

Yeah, it's one of my fave's too. We love it. I think the new doctor is brilliant, he just makes me laugh. Amy pond is REALLY hot too...are all scottish women so hot? :)

As for Torchwood, they could have kissed and then cut the scene to them lying in bed. I'm sure we could have figured out what happened in between. Anyway. I am quite liking the new series, it's very american-ised as mentioned, but well made too.

I wasnt sure if i was going to like Matt Smith as the doctor, as im a big fan of David Tennant, but he is very good. As for hot women, lol
Of course we are mostly all hot in Scotland, lol.

Wishaw for a meeting, and staying in Hamilton.
Is going armed compulsory?

Many years ago I was in a restaurant with some colleagues and a bloke named Jimmy Boyle, I didn't know who he was or anything about him, someone told me afterwards. He was a really nice guy though but I am not in a hurry to be near him and sharp objects.

And to keep this thread on topic, David Tennant best Dr ever.

David tennant was the best Dr Who ever. I dont think your going to find many hot woman in Hamilton though. If you venture into Glasgow city centre, go have a sit in George Square you wont be disappointed lol.

Guns are mandatory around Wishaw - you might find yourself believing you've just survived an apocalypse!!! LOL

it had me in tears Ewan. We have had Rory the Roman, now Rory the Robot, i Did enjoy it though. Even though there was 2 Amy Ponds.

Oohhh we are getting this series now! We are a little behind, just on week 2. Fraid I agree David Tennant is totally the best and I was so upset when his stint finished. Mat is really good and hes found himself a good persona but still prefer David. We get alot of repeats over here, they are huge fans so my favourites on all the time!!!

Dont forget Dr Who tonight at 7.10

Strange episode tonight, will have to watch again.

Wow, the creature in the episode tonight was a Nimon.

I can remember being scared absolutely to pieces by the original series that had Nimons in it. Just checked online and it was Tom Baker and screened in December 1979 so I was 6. Not helped by the fact that my brother (10 years older than me) continued to taunt me about Nimons for years.

I'm over it now, though, and didn't hide behind the sofa at all tonight :icon_thumright:
That's 'cos the sofa is pushed up against the wall....

wow, your ahead of me LOL

i've been building up a back collection thanks to sales on Amazon but not come across that. Still loving the brain of Morbius etc but Genesis of the Daleks is still one of the best ever. (ignore the fact he can wander between the two waring factions at will LOL)

Genesis of the daleks is one of my favouites, have it on both my ipad and ipod. I will need to borrow some of the older ones that you have Ewan.
