Not sure how happy I am about it but ho hum!

Thats what I've come up against already.

I don't believe in pressure selling, and I don't want to risk my identity for 80K a year before bunking on to the next area.

I would like to go to a previous customers house, ask if they are happy with their products and wether there are any adjustments of amendments they would like made (which I will happily do FOC or send a maintenance man round for very little an hour). Ask them wether they would like to invest in any new developments or potential retrofitment of upgrades to previous installations (IE Motor assist to garage doors) and then give them the best price and the best service. However today, of the people I did see 99% of them saw me as a salesman and were rude and just said "Nothing today thank you."

Yeah mate i know excactly how you feel, i have to sorta have to do the same thing at my work like cold calling, where i ring customers and try and get there business and sell them somethning but they dont want to talk to me and are just rude. i dont blame them really if your a macanic and are under a car trying to do something the last thing you want is someone ringing you getting you off the job your doing....
 
Put my name down for a pass for ADI will make the effort to get to Castle Coombe - no way will I go on the track in my everyday car though.

Seen too many prangs there.

How are you? Feeling better? Did you go to the show you mentioned last week or hasnt that come yet?

Sorry to hear you didnt go in the end, but i dont blame you 640miles feeling ill is not recommended, although i thought u would have gotten over the cold by now
