Drove it - there is an issue with the VVT getting clogged up with soot on the Diesels which can cause either over or under boost depending on how the vanes get stuck.

I'm struggling with what to do, I'm going to have to get a small loan if I want to change the car, which doesn't bother me as I need to build up my credit rating, and I shall get it over a period of time that means I can afford to live, without spending every penny paying it back.
Everyone is saying to me that if I am going to be changing my car, to get something around the same price, but newer. The only thing I'd go for is the 2.0T Quattro 8P, and there aren't many good uns around until you start going out of my budget, so what do I do?
If I get an S3, I have 2 years of paying it off, and by that point it's 11-13 years old.

Are the turbos hard to replace on your car?

Apparently not too bad on a ramp - but it is recommended to get a replacement oil return pipe as they have a habit of destroying themselves. My mate has done a number of them at work on cars with 50K upwards depending on how they have been driven, quality of fuel and the biggest issue is from cheap tuning boxes that overfuel and so cause a lot of soot.

dunno i figerd people may not want there reg on there car, so if its alright with my boss which im sure it would be fine i could make show plates any font any spacing what ever you wanted on it to put on your car for the show, they obv wont be road legal but i dont expect someone to drive down the motorway with " S3 300+bhp" as there reg or "bager 5'd"

yup will do , erm well all the general stuff i could see if they would let me fill my car with prudct such as, (castrol/lucas engine oil, screenwash, autoglym products, other cleaning products?, common filters, common brake pads, injector cleaner) list is endless really i dunno what i could bring that ppl would want or need?

ah i see well the pressed plates need to bs stammped so yeah they are road legal but i would need your logbook (v5) number and either a driving licence or pasport number to comfirm the vehicle is registerd to you, cant do pressed plates as show plates thats why i would need the details for the vehicle as there road legal and mot legal

ahh i see THIS is the only colour liek yours i hcae which is cyan... sorry mate ourt main machine is broken , the plates would most prob be like a £5 er each most prob around that any way would have to look into it. but retail we sell propper plates for £11.99 each
