new to the B5 A4 platform and im unsure whether the wheels i have in mind will fit. Not too much of a fan of poke although a little is acceptable

wheels in question are 17x9.5 et25, so anyone any idea how these would sit on a B5?

cheers
scott

I think the et is a little low, mine are 18x8j et35 and the fronts are pretty flush with the arch. For reference you need a pcd of 5x112.

I think you'll struggle with 9.5" rims and an ET of 25.

A chap local to me has just fitted a set of 19x9" genuine RS4 rims on his B5. They were ET50-something and he runs 20mm spacers all round. They poke out a few mm though, but he had to do that to stop them rubbing on his struts.

With your specs, I think they'll stick out for sure.

Cheers for the input guys, from looking at various sites an pics of wheel specs on B5's im still confused! some look exactly like how i want the fitment to be and others seem to have way more poke than i'd want.

Think i'll bite the bullet an just go for it, bit camber along with a bit arch rolling and pulling im sure i can make it work

Here it is... 9x19 Mk2 TT rims...

Excuse the bad photos. They do not show it off very well. He's running 20mm spacers all round.

So thats 9" wide and a final ET of 32?

Which means the wheels the OP mentioned would stick out 13mm more than those do.

Yeah... and these ones stick out too far for my liking (with the current tyre choice on) already!

Yep. 9" really is too much for an A4 bodyshell. You lower the offset any more to tuck them in and you'll be hitting the uprights.

Yeah... that's why he's having to run 20's on there.

I've got a set of 25's (bolt on's) kicking around somewhere that Ollie let me have. Never found a use for them!

JCB runs B7 RS4 wheels and hes said a few times they were ET24

True, i remember him quoting that also, but his are "winter wheel" options for B7, not sure why there is a difference in the ET, but standard UK RS4 were Et29, had looked into fitting them myself when i first got my Audi, but the 9j is the killer!
