Replacement bulbs for xenon plus headlights

Firstly, I'm new here so apologies if this is in the wrong section. I have a 2011 S3 Black Edition which I'm taking round europe next month. One of the requirements for driving in the Czech Republic is that you must carry a set of spare bulbs, does anyone know where I can get a set of replacements for the xenon plus headlights? Am I going to have to fork out a small fortune and head down an audi dealership (does anyone know how much this would cost?) or is there somewhere else? Google hasn't been as helpful as I'd hoped.

I doubt you'd have to carry those with you. They're not the easiest to replace without the bumper off I think, but ebay etc, not too sure what bulb they are D1S I think normally.

Yeah, I was a little surprised but that's what it says on the website. Good to know that they are D1S though, osram were trying to tell me I needed H7 bubls! Cheeky pic of the vehicle in question:

Yeap its actually a requirement in a number of locations to have a spare set of bulbs, along with a yellow roadworks jacket & warning triangle incase you have a car fault on the side of the road.

Ebay, £30 job done

IIRC the 8P3 (facelift) bi-xenon bulbs are D3S not D1S... D1S were used on prefacelift cars like mine.
i have a set of D1S bulbs for sale if anyone needs them

There are lots of dubious results on ebay, but I don't want to end up buying some chavvy blue bulbs!

Called up Audi to get a rough idea of how much it would cost, wasn't expecting it to be cheap but came in at £145 per bulb!

Quite, it's a legal obligation to have a spare set when driving in the Czech Republic though and I'm off to Prague in a couple of weeks!

There was one due to be shipped to the UK weeks after I started looking with exactly what i wanted. The dealer was going to be using it as a fleet car so I snapped it up. Didn't fancy waiting the 6 odd months for one. Brother ordered one shortly after I received mine and took 9 months!!!!

Plus I always had the view to remapping it up to 170bhp.
