Is there a way to adjust the xenon headlights?

Mine have suddenly decided to 'dip', they are definately a lot lower tonight

Have you checked the sensors are not broken, front and rear?

When you turn on the ignition with the headlights on, they should dip down and then come back up again to the correct position. Is this happening?

Thanks guys, turned out to be a broken sensor :icon_thumright:

I notice that mine seem to wobble when I drive over bumpy roads and you can see the light out the front of the car wobble as well. Mine is a 07 S-Line so is this normal as the suspension is a bit harder than normal a3's?

Mine "shimmer" a bit sometimes when driving over sudden bumps etc. Figure it's just the levelling system moving a bit as the car shakes, never found it to be a problem.

Mine dont move either but they do seem a little low.

thanks for the responses, is there anything I can check to make sure nothing is broken?

I dont think my move either when I switch them on.

Dave, are you sure its not that the xenons have a more distinct cut off compared to halogen and so its more obvious when you go over bumps?

When i switch mine on the drop down to shine about 6ft in front of the car, they then go up to slightly above horizontal and then drop to normal dip position. All this takes 3 seconds tops. Exactly as Dave says.

same as mine, though mine do a wiggle to the left and right as well as ive got adaptives

Don't know if you've bought a new sensor yet but its the same sensor in some seats and vw's. I got mine of ebay last year for approx £40 (used one)
