I dunno the silver does look really nice, the colour pops really well

They will look amazing, deffo hold out and go black. Especially with a Yr colour motor the wheels in black will do so much more for it, and you know it! you just want em on haha I'd be the same man they are beautiful. And all 5x100 win;)

Thought about a dark anthracite? I would spray them no matter what colour you choose, as it'll be easier to get them sprayed while the tyres are off and they are unused/mint.

Are these wheels light Dane? Why don't you run them as they are for now, and colour them at a later date, so meanwhile you might accidently kerb them! lol
 
Morning all,

Dane, Jack one side of the car up and fit theses wheels with out any tyres and then slowly lower them down on to some blocks of wood.
You can see what the car will look like with the wheels on (minus the tyres) and if you take a picture my self or someone else can photoshop them black.
You can then pick what colour you want with out having to take the tyres on and off.
I hope that makes sense.

I've decided, there is to much penis jokes and dildo pics.

Bedroom is almost finished. Carpet gets fit tomorrow, which is one of the reasons I've not been on here much. I'll see if I can upload a new pic of it. It's taken friggin ages to do it all.

Also got a big report due in on Monday so been rather busy doing that this last week. It's getting there now. I reckon a solid day at it today and I'm hoping to have the most part of it finished today so it's just the final touches tomorrow and over the weekend of necessary.

Its not raining here Scott. Just waiting on written acceptance. Its for my son, he is well excited and looking forward to moving. He wants
to be moving in the next few weeks. What car parts you waiting on Scott?

Lucky son.
Wish one of my parents or in-laws would buy me a house (with some payment plan). I want my own house so I can do things and not have to ask for written permission every time or wait 6 months for the plumber to come out. grrrr.

I ordered my suspension kit yesterday. waiting on some little bits from Amazon still, some wood, hinges and a delivery of felt.
Need to order my control arm set as well but that will have to wait till next month. Just hope the car knows she needs to wait and stops any thing from falling off or knocking.

That does look good mate. I like the fire place and bits eaither side of it. You done well, you should be proud....if you built it and did the work. :)

Bought a set of Koni str.t kit.
I wanted to stick with standard shocks and springs but it worked out more than my budget, so I went for Koni with a small drop. :)

How you getting on with your mods? I noticed the list is not getting any smaller.

Nahh 1 hour max both sides, i ve got coilovers, so it will drop as soon as i release the top nut...... enough to get the new mounts in..

We did everything mate, except for the plastering obviously, lol. I'm not 100% convinced by the colour scheme, but the wife controls that side of things. I'd probably do everything grey if it was up to me.

As for the list of mods, I asked Stoke Audi and he has asked me for my chassis number so he can get prices for the correct parts. I won't have time tonight, got a few final jobs to sort before the carpet is fit tomorrow. But hoping to get that to him and then get the parts to fix my mods over the next few weeks :) Will be nice to have it looking a bit better again.

How much lower will your kit make the car then mate? I've been told mine might need some suspension work at the next MOT, so have debated getting it lowered then, but just can't bring myself to do it yet.

Cheers dude. I actually quite enjoy it, but bedrooms are always a pain. We are living in our spare room, which is not a whole lot bigger than a kingsize bed and a set of drawers, so every day I have to climb over the bed etc, it's just a pain. Once this is done the other rooms will be a lot easier. This took ages cos of all the cupboards we built for storage.

And when I say I enjoy decorating...I mean I prefer it to work, but like it a lot less than other things in life :)

Can't be a bit of decorating.
I like seeing the finish product, thats why I use to really enjoy fitting kitchens.

Its a 35mm lower but due to the sport suspention being about 20mm lower than standard. It should sit 15mm lower than it all ready sites at the moment.

I was debating lowering mine, I did not want to lose the ride comfort really but after some reading and the price, I've deiced to drop it.

Grey, clean, organised, steralised. Nice!!

My 0-60mph is 16 seconds in my Derv. I bet you could do 0-60-0 in that time or even 100. lol

I'll try and get the tyres on at some point today because they are friggin cool!

Jo they don't weigh too much I reckon they are going to be a little lighter than the rstt's, it should be easier to tell when the tyres are on

Ahh ok. Yeah my 0-60 should be around 6 seconds so i'm sure I could do 0-100-0 quicker than you could hit 60 :moa:
