Yeah and It would appear that Admiral seem to think im trying to fraud them out of money for the golf, so I have to spend an hour on the phone everyday talking to some woman giving me the nth degree about my exact movements and then there going to take the excess off the money im getting back and take 2 years no claims off my s3 policy. all for **** all back I'm tempted to tell them to stuff if it for the hassle it's causing.

Weather is not bad today, think it may rain later though, im off to the apple store to get an attachment for my ipad, but im going to take
a small detour round by George Square where they are filming scenes for the new Brad Pitt movie.

How much money will you get for the car and how much will your insurance go up by if you lose your no claims?

Is it worth the money you get back?

A friend has just got some for her golf gt waited 4 weeks 2 =112 pcd 2 = 100 pcd, she lost the sale of her old alloys now as the guy wont wait any longer ...disgrace...
 
If it was the s3 and 6K I was getting back I could
1. understand their prerogative to investigate it
2. be arssed to waste hours of my time, at work, where I've only been working for 3 weeks.

They want both keys, MOT certificates, V5 documents, insurance certificate, service history, the name of my mates dog and his grandmas favorite soup.

For a few hundred quid I'll just hope it gets found thanks.

The same as mine new bad boys? I dont think it's Regal Autosports' fault I think it's Fifteen52's fault, yeah they could of and should of checked it though

Scott - Im going to get £200 max I reckon.

Yeah I'm going to wait till I get an email confirming the documents I need to produce and everything else that needs to happen - Tell them I dont want to process a claim, cancel my policy as of a few days ago and get £350 back... simples.

Just not worth it.

Don't seem like its worth the hassel mate or the rise in insurance.
 
TBF they're probably doing this because I haven't owned the car long but still, it's a fecking old, slightly rusty mk2 golf that is'nt really worth that much money.

Still Instead of being made to feel like I've done something wrong, I'd like to stop my claim, and cancel my policy please, and if it turns up it turns up and I shan't be insuring it with you.

LOL, you could go to town on that, lets be fair. Break out the abuse....

Bad news. Bumble is broko.

Turns out that the bolts shearing the other day on the mount have shagged the threads in the stupid alloy engine mount. Lushness.

Need a new alloy mount, and actual engine mount as well. Plus, to fit I have to do the cam belt.

It could be, I'm getting better you know...

I'm uprating my engine mounts for vibratechincs ones in the future, but if it would help welly out I might be able to get them changed over sooner.

I'm not fussed mate, but thanks anyway. Not worth additional hassle. I can get a new engine mount for about 30 quid, and then I know it's new and shiny!! lol.

If you want to help, come and do my cam belt for me....

My thoughts too - just need to see if I can get Orange to upgrade mine for free and match the 3 deal on the phone - otherwise my Daughter may be getting a contract sale from me.

On 3 it is free on a £35 a month 24 month contract with UL internet 5000 txts and 2000 x-network minutes.

I'll be ringing Orange later.
