Morning guys, Just joined the cycle brigade and got a bike dont know much about them (been a long time) so i hope westy can enlighten me, paid £300 for it, its a Chris boardman? hydraulic brakes blah blah... its done 75 miles from new.....lol

Nice one, welcome to the biking world. :)

You got westy, smudge, crazy and my self. But I don't think I really count cause I don't ride mine that much.
£600 bike sat in the IT store most of its life. It still looks good though :)

Nahh, not legally. Just a bit of fun question really.
Example, if a cup can no longer hold water or serve its main reason for being, can it still be classed as a cup?
Or a phone, if it can no longer make phones calls, can you still call it a phone?

Nice one on the bike dave, I really need to get riding again. Scott that is so random lol what made you think of that one.

Iv had a great start to the day, just come in early to a site, rebooting a switch to take a new ip addy as they cant have downtime...and lost the whole db.... Doh!!!

Much planned for today boys & girls

Damo, I Broke a pair of scissor and wondered if they can still be classed as scissors.

Not much. I finished the cabs yesterday. so today is a day of nothing. I hope.

Didn't need any bins mate. The iphone camera makes it look further away than it is. I was able to see the numbers on the back of the players shirts and the ball so it's all good.

Bit of a lack of cable management in those racks mate!
 
Get some management rails in it looks like you patched it with Yr feet ;)

Is that your seat for the hole season now?

Yup.
I did question it but they said follow the design, so I did.
Followed it to the letter and never deviated.
They are now in there adding some cable tidies.

We got loads of them left over from the old racks but they never wanted them in this rack.
Thought it was odd but I did as I was told.
I keep getting brought up on asking question all the time, so this time i just did what they wanted.

I was shocked by the amount of language used the first couple of times I went to matches.

On a fire extinguisher you have the white writing that explains all how to use it and all that.
I need to get this printed and stuck on.
Any one got any ideas the best place to get this done?
 
Yeah, I heard you were pretty lacklustre..

Unless this is her first season, or you've nicked her old(now dead) husbands seat, I can't believe that she's never heard language like that before.

I might be waiting till next week. The guy believes there is a set of brand new Yoko Advans from a lotus in a lockup. The lotus rears are 225/45/17 so I'm hoping there's a set of 4 rears kicking about.

My 50MPG helps me pay for everything else in my life.
I suspect my next car will be the Blue Motion Sirocco, for cheap Tax, but Revo'd.

I got my tyres but no alloys thus far. and I got a phone call last night saying that they might not all be 5x100 and that one or two could be 5x112 grr!

Me too - I tend to cycle at least 3 days a week to work and back.

Right I know it's been done to death, but rather then set up an annoying thread in the 8l section, I'm going to slam my question here and hope that one of you can guide me:
Out of the following I am trying to work out what I'd need to fit it to an FMIC to an A3.
1 x 60mm Forge pipe ???
1 x 60 - 63mm reducer NO
1 x 50 - 63mm reducer NO
4 x 63mm 45 degree bends YES
3 x 63mm 90 degree bends YES
1 x 1 metre 63mm alu or stainless pipe YES
 20 x clips (or a different make, what are the cheapies like?) YES
and a cooler with 2.5"/63mm outlets (sort of, I've got 63-57mm reducers)

Do my ?, YES and NO look correct?

No idea who makes it, I can't even remember where I got it from.
The store guys in work can do it but only basic text that says "Fire Extinguisher".
