hi there i just registered my account here...

i own a audi S3 8l and im getting HALDEX problems...

i use a gt30r car is built engine and all good pretty strong 420whp...

i got a problem, i always got problems with the eletronic THROTTLE BODY , sometimes it closes 30-40% in higher gears...
tired of this problem i took off the DBW system and putted a cable throttle body... the car got much better and i did a clamp in the accelerator cause i lost the HALDEX traction... after the clamp(eletric trick) i got the car perfect again...

but in the moment i didnt notice, but obviously doing that the haldex was always ON in this way... ALWAYS even cruising slow...

i went to a track day to have some fun, and during the track i lost the 4x4 system.... after that no matter what i try no more 4x4 system... and in a 420whp car it translates in wheel spin even at 3rd gear...

so the question... WHAT I PROBABLY damaged?? the DISCS? the haldex OIL PUMP?? how do i know to get the things clear?... remember my car is fully modded so eletric INFOS i basically dont get anymore...

i dont know what to do... thinking if i cant figure out the problem, block the haldex and get 4x4 ALL THE TIME , but this is the last trick , cause the car get to bad for, park, drive, turn inside city...

please i aprecciate any feedback... thanks,

Alex

Bummer about not been able to use vagcom to help identify any potential fault codes.

Could be a few thins mate, knackered haldex unti, damaged rear diff, but it could be as simples as the rear earthing strip on the rear didd is corroded, if this is the case then this can cause loss of 4wd.

im thinking in the possibilitie of the fact i TURN on the HALDEX 100% all the time with the clamp.. what should be the first thing i will damage??

thas the inittial idea of problem...

please guys im really worried about any feedback...

Constant 4 wheel drive will just mean good bye transmission, these cars arnt capable or designed to run constant 4 wheel drive unfortunatly.
