you sound like my partner! She said that yesterday when i was moaning about it lol. If it was a closer shot you would see it but where my dark quite dark and the grille black from a distance cant really see it. Thanks Paullie, i feel a bit better about it today lol. Now thinking if i should leave it like that till im working and just get on with some different mods. Thanks again for the comments X

I think this looks pretty sweet, ..it's done on Photoshop and isn't the Optics version of the RS3 grille, but still very cool just the same, lol. x

Dave from Stoke Audi got in touch today to say that my number plate plinth is ready to be sent out, so paid £81 for it earlier, so should be receiving it very soon, then getting it fitted. Local custom shop is on stand by to get it fitted!! x

I saw it was something like 660 Euros from German dealers, which I guess makes £620 sound about right. There's no way it's worth more than double what an S3 one costs, but it's the whole RS3 label again, isn't it? I mean, £70 (plus postage) for a number plate holder alone??? Well over the score if you ask me! x

Haven't fitted it yet Fella, but the fitment looks the same as the other facelift A3/S3 grilles. It was listed on Ebay as suitable for 8P/A3/S3/S-Line/RS3, so here's hoping, lol. I know someone in Australia already has one fitted, so fingers crossed that it's nice and simple, but if a slight bit of modding is required, then so be it. The RS3 near production mules had the RS3 bumper fitted with the standard S3 grille, so it should work the other way round, ie S3 bumper and RS3 grille and just bolt on. x

TBH the used ones are scarce, I had 1 for sale, but mate snapped that up from me.

I know this is a really old thread, but I am trying to get my paws on a black grill for 2015 S3 to replace the chrome one I have currently, just wondering if you knew where I could source one from and rough idea of cost. Thanks
