Hi there, looking to buy a new i-pad, anyone recommend any good deals, either with a monthly usage package or just outright purchase, many thanks in advance.

I have the original ipad, had for a good long while now, i would buy outright and from an apple store, service is exceptional. Wifi coverage is generally good wherever you are as there are so many hotspots these days.

If you buy it going through Quidco you get 3 or 4% cash back on sales through online apple store

Yeah I'd buy it out right if you can. You can the set up a rolling contract. I use 3, as I get 10gb for £15 every 30 days. More than adequate and signal seems to be good. How ever... I bought it from apple, who said they had given me this sim card, which they said 3 would set up. How ever after, being on the phone with Them for an hour and speaking to 7 people, I found out apple had given me the wrong sim card!

My ipad came with an o2 pay as you go sim which can just be topped up if and when i want, i have had my ipad for a long while now and only used the sim once when i was on a ferry.

Buy wi-fi only and tether it to iPhone (or similar) by b/tooth if you only will use on road occasionally.

iPad will be cheaper and only need one contract then

Bought it the other day, what a piece of kit folks, never had it off lol

Thanks for all the advice guys/girls...

Glad your happy with it. I personally couldnt live without mine now, laptop is rarely used. Enjoy.

too late now...but anyone else thinking of buying one...they are much much cheaper in **** (thailand, singapore) so if you know anyone going...get them to buy on your behalf.

I got 64gb wi-fi white for around GBP420 - saving of GBP140.
