Well guys,

Went and picked the A3 up today, what can I say! Pleasure to drive!
I've had the 1.8T BE before this, mine is the 2.0TDI 140 and doing 80ish with AC on the way back, still managed a very respectable 58mpg :yahoo: Over the Cupra's poor 29mpg :(
So far I love it, one of the best cars I've owned and definitely a keeper :) The leather still smells brand new, AC is freezing just how I like it :) Paint is in brilliant condition, gave her a quick detail when I got her home, and came out brill! :)

Now, the wheels I'll either keep these and have them powder coated darker, or if anyone wants them, PM me as I've always loved BBS CKs and will have some one day! Need to get more pictures, here's a cheeky one for now :arco:

Well done mate , looks great....well the front does :)

Haha cheers Paddy :)
I'll get more pictures later, just wish it had bi-xenons :( but hey ho, if I ever save the money I'll get them retro-fitted by Nigel!

Spec looks really good Dan, best options to add are Cruise and RNSE, probably the easiest options as well. Nige is the man :)

How much did it set you back? I could do with 60mpg!

What a beauty, Chappy! Love your sneaky peeky piccy, lol. Can't wait to see more, looks LUSH as well as mean and moody in Phantom! xx

Anyone else thing it looks a lot more A4ish than usual? I think it's the reflection on the bonnet makes it look low and wide, less rounded than an A3's front end.

I didn't manage it get anymore pictures tonight :( although I will get them asap, I love the car, done over 120 miles today and I'm still on the quarter of a tank it came with :)

The car was on for £13,495, I got them to £13,295 :)

Cheers mate :)

I seriously need to get myself a decent camera! The car looks so much better in the flesh :)

Well, today saw me detailing the car for over 4 hours. To say I'm knackered is an understatement!

First off came the de-badging,

Haha it's ok matey :)

Thanks for the compliment! Like I said, black looks spot on.....clean
Just saving up for the mods!

A good polish works wonders, looks spot on in the pics Chap :) Having de badged the back you need to lose the number plate surround as well, thats a cheap and good mod. Get some self adhesive number plate pads from Halfords :)
EDIT.. especially as its says Skoda :)

Paddy, the plate has been made with the Skoda+Seat badges at the bottom, it's not a plate surround :( So I'd need new plates which is why I may go down the pressed plate route :)

No worries mate :) your S3 looks lush, if only I could afford one haha

Oooohhh now that looks good. Nice car and great job on the detailing...enjoy. Oh and pressed plates are deffo the way to go.

Thanks Sarah :)
I'll be ordering some shortly from the website Paullie mentioned, I'm waiting to renew my car tax so haven't sent off for my V5 yet :)

I picked mine up with 45k on mate, was just looking at that one you've posted, looks pretty decent spec.
