N75 Valve

No, I didn't read replies above mine other than OP, but reading what you said prior to me it would be hassle for both of you should the valve be faulty (it does happen from the factory from time to time, I had a broken one from VW direct). In regards to gift, was a reference to the recent shut down of SCN For Sale due to too many people demanding gift payments and running with the money...sad times :(.

O rite was it! Yea you do have to be weary about some people sometimes as it can go all tits up if your not careful!

went bk to audi and they did order wrong part and guy there tried saying its my fault lol right part ordered now just gotta wait until tuesday but least its £27 cheaper than what i paid for wrong part hehe

i have to agree. granted the 118k r8 there was lush but im a paying customer so they should have a tiny bit of respect but nope they had no interest!!

The tits just did exactly the same with me but opposite! I ordered N249 and they gave me N75. The guy was like "well they're just generic codes.".... GRRRRRRRRRR!

P.S any one got any ideas where i can get a slightly more cost effective N249?

thats what happend when dude at audi when on system its silly

new part came today and finally my beast boosting as it should again :D

thanks for all the help guys!

Aright marc,

I have been having some boost issues, first of all I bi-passed the N249 valve and there wasn't really any difference unitl a couple of days later and the engine warning light came on (17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult) - System too lean). I was inspecting some of the pipes and found that the fuel pressure regulator pipe wasn't looking good and replaced it. Cleared the engine warning light and it was back to pulling like a train.

However, a couple of days later the same engine warning light came on, it had no boost again (and this happened while I was away) and I had to drive the car home the next day. The engine warning light then went off the next day, it's boosting a little better but not as it should be. Were you seeing the same intermittent boosting issues? Just wondering whether I need to replace the N75 valve? I have the 210 AMK engine for info.

Thank you in advance ).

yeah mate it would work 1 day then go into limp mode for few days then work again. my prob was def n75 valve but id put car on vag and see what error codes u get up. let me know what they r and ill see if they match what i had ( need to find notes i made lol)

17695 boost pressure control valve was my error code! be careful IF u get valve from audi as when they go to system it always brings up a n295 valve and thats what they ordered for me first time round :(

A bit off topic but......

Does anyone know the part number for the n75 valve on a aum a3 1.8t ?

I need to replace mine, I just rang audi and asked for a price for N75-F: 058906283F he initially told me it was £44.48 inc but then said that part had been superceeded and was now £74.76, ouch. The new part number is 058906283E.
Has anyone else come across this. For that price I think I will be buying a Forge 007p.

the 007p and the n75 are completely different parts mate, they are NOT interchangeable! the 007p will replace your standard bosch recirculation valve, the n75 is located just to the right if that. you shouldnt be paying any more than about £40 all in for the n75, duno what the guys talking about! Here's your N75

and here's your Forge 007p (think somebody is selling one in classifieds if your interested)
