They do look a bit pink, suppose thats just the light? Lol

Have to agree mate, I think they must've let the colour blind apprentice pick out what he thought was red :lmfao:

Look great, has he powder coated the threads though?
They was taped up.
There is a small bit of paint on the threads but I've cleaned them up the best I can.
The hole thing been cleaned out with air, brake fluid, magnets (the shot blast is is magnetic) and by me going phhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh in the holes. lol

Scott said they need a bit of cleaning up as there are some shot balls inside that will require washing out. He's in charge of cleaning them and refitting the pistons with the new dust boots and seals so fingers crossed everything is fine. They're going to be like brand new calipers.

I ordered braided hoses, Motul RBF660, and ferodo DS3000s from Bill this morning.

All done mate. They look really good but so did the titanic. :)

You want some finished pics or do you want to wait till AITP?

Thanks again for all your efforts Scott. You're the man.

Did I tell you that the white balance is off on my camera?
They are actually Pink.
I'll try and correct the wb. 1min.

EDIT:=- Thats better. More true to life.

Certainly different... actually like them :undwech:

You'll need to set up a price list too mate. I think a fair few people will want them done.

I hate prices and generally hate money but since its a needed part of life and we can't live on favours and an exchange in skills/services, I'll take what you think its worth.
Unless you have a skill or offer a service that I can use. :)

Are you doing a full flush? How easy is that on the S3?

I wasn't going to do a full flush as the fluid in there is only a year old and only covered about 6k miles. I'm hoping to be able to swap the front calipers then just do a quick top up/bleed but not sure yet. I'm attempting it at AITP so I'll see what my mechanical minded friends suggest.

Started on a 3 day clean today to get the car looking half decent for AITP. Spent all night tonight cleaning up my leather as it's never been done properly. The pics are pants as per usual as they're from my iPhone and it was getting dark but you can still see the difference between the dirty drivers seat and the clean passenger seat.:

Yeh what you using mate? The seats seem to be more plush too.

Just using auto glym leather cleaner butivebeen really scrubbing the seats hard with a nail brush. The amount of dirt coming off them was unreal!

Tomorrow I'll be doing a wash, clay, polish, and first wax.

Thursday I will apply a 2nd layer of wax and I'll be ready.

Nice dude! I want to get a bit of hydration into my leathers soon!Epic cleaning regime too I'm going to spend a few hours cleaning it and do a few coats of egp on Saturday morning lol

Looking lovely dude!

I wish I had a car that actually worked! Then I might actually get along to some shows, rather than being sat at home wondering if everyone else is having a good time, whilst I fix mine again :(
