Car Planet Ltd in Warrington Closes Down

Not good news,I hope the staff and customers get back on track with their lives.

Very sad. My mate was invited to meet the 2 directors about 2 months ago with a business opportunity, but he told me they looked dodgy from the outset! I'm glad he saw through them and followed his gut feeling, or he would have been in the sh!t today!!

Gutted, what a horrible story...

Same here mate - I really dread to think what it must have been like getting today sorted :(

The workmanship is supposed to be second-to-none but as reagrds to where the cars come from and management I have always heard about dodgy links.

shame for cpr. where they got the cars from was dodgy but the mechanic work was good as all the mechanics were from rc developments.

Shame for the employees, I've been made redundant twice in two years due to the company sinking like the titanic.. From my experience, the majority of board members look after themselves and don't give a shizzle about anyone else.

Where did the cars come from?

This news is bouncing round the net like wildfire and it would seem there is more to this than forst meets the eye

i heard they were ment to be shutting a while ago due to poor finanace but then this takes the biscuit.

most of the cars they had shipped in ie japan etc although the two directors had nice cars sure one had a merc 6.2 amg and the other had a porsche

Hmm, yep well you can have anything you want when you're scamming people left right and centre. One bloke was done out of 37K and a nice Evo 8. He got his Evo shell back and a boot full of parts. They were previously RC Developments when they did that, apparently stripped the car for welding work/strengthening and 'forgot' to not sell his engine and everything else.

They want locking up, the directors do anyway!

They were never priced highly were they considering what some of them were. I could only imagine they may have been stolen and imported and then re-registered.

Could of been, i've heard about there previous goings on under the name RCD but this is mental, if i was one of the owners who's cars they had, taken my money and then done a bunk i'd be so ******.
