Evening gents.

Just wondering what options there are for a inlet manifold.

I bought a spare s3 inlet manifold and have gasket matched it but tbh it seems pointless in fitting it, its hardly going to offer much if any difference.
I know the obviuos one is the SEM but im not willing to splash that much out, well at least not at this stage.

Was thinking about one of these but with largeport runners and running a transition gasket to allow fitment to my smallport head:
OBX INTAKE RACE MANIFOLD VW BETTLE GOLF GTI JETTA 1.8T | eBay

I know its a copy of the RMR one but looks identical to this one a previous memember had fitted:

So what you guys think?

Discuss :).

I know, i was up for getting one but i was googling obx and the vortex guys were ripping them to shreads, was hoping the 2 members on here would comment but doesnt seem like they are on here often.

What do you reckon to it tufty?

Difficult one... some report bad qaulity but tbh theres is not much to go wrong on them... the RMR was never the best performer tbh but obviously gonna be better than the std one... what it will give on a fairly std tune I don't know...

Providing it is made a little better than the XS Power mani's then it stands a chance I guess...

<tuffty/>

Has anyone flow tested the rmr one against say the sem or dahlback etc?
