Hmm, think the side grilles in the bumper look a bit out of place all blacked, maybe just doing the centre bars would keep the profile of the sides with centre still?

Yup, and unfortunately not the cheap stuff. I got mine from Regula Tuning - HIGH QUALITY RS4 PLASTIC RACE MESH, GRILLE, VENT | eBay

I originally tried the cheaper stuff you can get from the UK, but it didn't look as good, would have smashed if hit by stones at speed and finally... some horrible cnut nicked them off the car from Goodwood last year.

I used a plastic filler - Isopon Bumper filler

Initially used a glue gun to hold the mesh in place long enough for the filler to bond. I also used the filler for the gaps left by the removed centre bars.

You can't really see in the photos, but I also built up an angle to the side grilles to push the airflow towards the intercoolers. For that I used a mesh and filler.

Cheers dude, might try this on mine. Been looking for some honeycomb for ages but they all look thin and flimsy.

I like it, looks different. Looks Alot more aggressive with the bar gone though, new grill bar delete would finish it nicely
