F1 Season 2011

Sounds odd that as they are the team at the moment that they would get someone in who hasn't raced in F1 for 3 years.
His wages must be big too.
You would have thought there are more capable drivers out there to fill the No.2 spot.

Yeah it does sound odd and ive still no doubt lewis will be at Red-Bull next year anyways.

I think tho as a team, who would you want. Mark webber who takes off his team mate, out spoken and all moaning about the team who pays his wages or Kimi Raikkonen a World champion?

Top start from Hamilton and good to see Alonso ahead of Vettel. Button needs to get his act in gear and I'm surprised Massa ain;t got passed yet.

Can see it being a very interesting race :) what teh heck is up with Vettel at all lol

Hope Alonso overtakes Vettel in the first corner tomorrow and we get a fight
between redbull mclaren and ferrari.

Didn't I say it's gonna be like that? ;)

That was a tremeous overtake by Hamilton.

There is NO-ONE else on the grid that would have even tried that! And yet people still slag him off for being aggressive. Even Webber said in the build-up before the show about team orders at Silverstone that accidents happen due to trying to race and overtake. Otherwise why race? No need for this DRS and KERS :D

Poor fella has not had a good weekend at all - What's happened to Vettel though, he's like fallen off the cliff (****** good news!)

I'm wondering if they have gone though a fuel save mode at the start of the race, Hamilton just seems to have taken off from Alonso - seems a bit odd that he now has this capability, possibly the lighter fuel playing to the Mclaren again

check out the outside overtake by Hamilton!! comon!! :)

taking it to Zee Germans!! what a race...... nuff said bruv!

oh oh oh whats with the parked up Ferrari?? that will be ****** hilarious if he's ran out of fuel :)

What a battle bewteen the top 3 driver and a stunning win for Hamilton, well done.

I think McLaren really need to change Button for someone else. I know alot of people will disagree bit hes hopeless sometimes for me and not doing the car any justice and he got an excuse for everything.

Reptor you like Ramiltons over take on your bum boy cruising around the outside put a smile on my face.

One thing to note about Vettel is he can't handle the pressure. He only finished 4th because Ferrari messed up Massa's pit-stop. And Massa was driving extremely well!

But that's how to win a race by a few seconds - gives you an idea how much of a good race it was rather than this 'I'll just be in the lead all the way to the end' ********.

LMAO at Alonso hitching a lift!

As regards to Button - I think he's having some genuinely bad luck - he was on a role today after he managed to get some breathing space :(

Was epic - especially considering teh lap before he prevented Webber doing teh exact same thing on him!

I do have to agree Vettel dont do so well when he needs to do some proper work or under any pressure at all. Seemed all over the place today to be fair but got good points in the end.

The pits confused me today with the under-cut. Webber was infront one lap then 3rd the next, unpredictable but exciting race.

I'm sorry but is anyone else finding the Ferrari with no fuel kind of ironic? :)

I wonder if ferrari has enough petrol for the test.
Great drive by the first 3.
Can't believe ferrari screw Massa that badly in last pit stop.
All we need now is Vettel not finishing one race.

About Button - he needs more luck just like Webber.
Massa is the one who should go ages ago.

They should technically get a penalty because there is fuel to test for additives etc.

Quite a surprise Massa was abe to hold off Vettel on the track.

I dont feel luck is enough for Button. It bugs the crap out of me that nearly every start Button goes backwards and always losses a few places. Most races he is faffing about with the mid field and relys on stragery to get back up there, makes it hard for himself every race.

Halfway through the race he was 43 seconds behing the leader who has the same car as him.

Alonso is a great driver but that shoudl get looked into - really you should complete the last lap.

Really gutted for Massa at the end there :(

As much as it pains me to say, lewis drove the better race. Thats the first and last time i will say that..LOL

At least Ferrari and Mclaren showed Red-bull to watch there backs :asskicking:

Maybe he should have pushed it like......

At least he didn't start waving down other drivers ;)

Plus I don;t see there being any issues with Alonso's fuel anyway.

amazing race, lewis done us proud and drove sensationally. well done nando for keeping up and keeping mark behind.

lewis outside overtake was outstanding on medium tyres on his first proper flying lap on them and credit goes to him.

one of the best races ive watched all season and non stop action with the top 3 and then vettel and massa. like people have been saying on here and on bbc vettel doesnt seem to be the kid when he is behind someone with similar pace, i bet if he was behind lewis he wouldnt have been on his gear box like massa but still vettel couldnt get passed, lots of errors too. keep it up seb you will make the last half of the season exciting.

im sure its within the rules to pull over on the in lap(dont quote me though)

they will probably still have enough there for a sample

Nice car, sexy chick and the 2011 German Grand Prix Winner there :)

good thing aswel is that there is only 3 more days till p1 lol

Should hopefully be a good race. The hungarian circuit is not to bad. My personal favourite is the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, bit of a wait for that though
