And that food looks well nice damo! I'm hungry again now. :) I've managed to avoid the wife knowing I spend so much time on here, and it's for the best I feel.

I do think we need to share our lives more in the pub. Nothing beats a picture.

Looking good dude! Although I'm a little confused...whats beyond the fence? Is it your land? If not, why did you end up taking the fence down? For access?

My wardrobes are getting there. Doors put on just to check they all fit (necessary since I made them myself so it was subject to being massively wrong)

Ahhh, that makes sense now ha. Removable wins! I spent about three Saturdays figuring out how to make my tiled bath panel removable just in case I ever got a leak :)
 
Bravo boys ;) looks like a bit of graft going on today... But deffo not by me! I'm doing sod all and doing a good job of it too ;)
 
Damo, two cross breeds. One I got causes the ex wanted a dog and I never had the heart to give him away and rescue dog from a friend.

You use yours as gun dogs?

Max on the left is a Labrador x collie x we think terrior.

Bo on the right was rescued from my mate. He rescued Bo from some random women which was forced to pass Bo on cause of her land lord. My mate passed Bo on to me cause it caused his son to have asthma. He's a German Shepard x collie. He has some issues, main one being his hips but he's also a. It mental.

Good weekend?

My garden is almost done, just waiting on a delivery of slabs and I can finish it off then.

Am i right in thinking that some of you work with in the motor trade doing parts?

Morning mate

Nahh not broken nothing just after some replacement parts.
I want to replace my front bushes, springs and shocks.
After a cheeky discount from someone in the trade. :)

going lower and going stiffer...........hmmmm not so sure. lol
Wanting a set of meyle HD complete front bushes and not sure on suspension.
thinking a little bit lower but don't want to lose the ride comfort.
 
The TT is fixed!!!! YAY!! I drove it all day Saturday and yesterday and it has been good as gold....

In fact it's a lovely drive...

I've let the missus loose with it now.... :scared2:

I drove the pug for the first time yesterday since we got out clunk fix and its amazing.
I got told off for driving it to hard. lol

What is the misses driving like?

Did the 60 miles in 4 and a half hours on a sodding mountain bike! I've already been on ebay looking at racers. The guys on racers were rolling quicker than I could pedal!

I raised over £200 by myself for breast cancer. As a team of 6 we raised over £500

No, it was the inner CV after all, however I did the other bearing too for good measure.

My mate got the bearing and pressed it for me. £20 for the bearing, and I gave him £40 for doing the two, even though he didn't want it. If one is dead, the other won't be far behind....

Her driving isn't the best in the past. She wrote off 2 cars in 4 weeks....

However, I have warned her so I'm sure she'll be careful.
 
Those of you into your cycling please give me some advice. I'm looking for a light racing bike for as cheap as possible ;)

It'll be my first ever road bike so I'm not after something super. I've seen a few nice ones on Halfords website that seem quite reasonable.

Good news on the tt welly, westy don't know much about race bikes but I'd stick to a name you know and can trust. You probably have off rd tyres on Yr mtb. You could always go hybrid or just stick some lightweight rims in and skinny slicks. That will give you better rolling speed. Good job on raising the cash dude. Bet Yr walking like John Wayne lol

I ache all over from the breakdown yesterday, lots of heavy speaker cabinets and amp racks to lift off the stage - into the transit - into the store unit.

Tooks some pics on the mobile which I'll upload soon.

We3sty - well done mate - good cause. Hybrids make a good comprimise between off and on road ability.

Welly - great news you've fixed the TT.

Crazy - looking smart with the doors on.

Scott - Good work on the gardening - my Mrs does ours cause I hate it with a passion - only thing I do is any construction work in the garden - fencing etc.

Damo - well looks like you did ****** all - LOL

Think that covers it - 3 days away and all.

I have a guy at work who's willing to sell me a custom built alloy road bike that was worth £1200 new for £250. He bought it for £300 6 months ago but the frame is too big for him and he prefers his mountain bike. I'm going to look at it tomorrow evening.

As it's cheap I can keep my mountain bike for any offroad trips I want to do. I'm getting well into this cycling lark :)

That sounds like a bargain if it's spec'd well. I need to get back into it. I well miss throwing the steed around in the quarries. Time and money is my main problem, I'll be bald and grey before I get on it again lol
 
Ok, I'm ready.

How much does people care when a celebrity dies?
The good or the bad, the natural the not to natural.

This thought came about after a bit of a chat in work about Amy winehouse, we've decided that we don't really care and class it as any other death that happens to any one else that we don't know. Yes its sad for the family and they have to deal with it the same way when we all lose someone.
Its different if she was friend and family but we can't see the difference between her dieing and someone else in the news paper.
I'm a bit blahzay about death in general whether its family or friends, I accept it and move on.

There was some chat about it in her death thread and it got a bit negative and the posts was removed (and mine :)). I thought it be interesting to see what people really thought without the fear (I hope so) of being banned or posts deleted.
