Cheers Paddy! Thanks for all your help with those S3 vents:]

Cheers Farhan, it was really good chatting to you last time and I hope we will meet at some point again:].

Looks good :) A set of bi-xenons would finish the front ;)

How is the car since getting the DPF removed + a map?? What kind of figures are you running now?

Big big difference, much better reving above 3k, better throttle response, less lag overall with good lower end. I reckon it has about 220-225bhp atm. Done 15k on this spec with no probs at all. Bi-xenons would cost me fortune, cant afford it but who knows maybe next year with a bit of luck:p.

Here is when I get Sat Nav fitted. Bless that day:D.

Rome wasn't built in a day Matt, its looking really nice, take your time enjoy the car and enjoy the mods. That last picture of the tailgate really shows the paint finish Audi used to get. Unfortunately the modern water based paints are prone to orange peel.. especially in Black.

One of the reasons i went for white fran, they seem to have got a far better finish than the darker colours. Take a look at new black BMW's they are really bad.

yeah i think white is one of those colours that it doesnt show at all but yeah also know what your on about with bmw's mate i valet cars for a living at a used car dealership so see bad paint everyday

That's true Paddy, all depends on finanses as usual:wacko:. Shame about the paint, so now Ibis white is new black I assume. :anbet:

Have you thought about adding cruise control? That's a handy mod to do, always using mine. It's not that expensive to do either.

Nice car.

That wasn't a criticism Mat, your paint looks superb mate, its the stuff in the showrooms now that looks ropey !

I had a white Manta GTE years ago when it was the fashion ,Then white went out, then back in again...who cares :)

Got it fitted if you look at interior photos you will notice for sure:] Brilliant stuff I drive to my home country 2-3 times per year which is 2400 return and it was a pain without it.

Sorry Paddy if I sounded like that, I didnt mean to really:p. English is not my native language so sometimes/most of the time:laugh: I make a mess and mistakes:p. Sorry again. It was more like my next car wont be black because of the paint being crap and the only good option would be white which is not to my taste really as my mum used to get white cars and simply got fed up with it :p Although I had white ST and looked mint so is white S3 who knows then I might even follow your example and get white S3 next:wub: Hope this makes sense:p.

Did you fit your black grille without jacking up the car? How did you manage that?

its fairly easy job, dont need jacking up, just need to turn steering wheel left and right to get to the 2 screws hidden behind the plastic arch + any screws under and top of the bumper/grill. Can make some photo if you wish.

Hey Matt, Your English is a lot better than any attempt i could make at your home language :)

That would be brilliant if you could mate :)

I've had a black grille lying around for ages now and just could never be bothered with trying to jack the front end up as it seems that there is no easy way of doing it on an A3 haha

Pics would be much appreciated.
