Note, none of them are from ebay and i challenge you to find the West Shirt thats in the frame on sale anywere... It has Hugo Boss and West on the back too.

Nice pics, unfortunately though owning the wheel of a racing car does not make you any more knowledgable than Mr Bloggs sat on his sofa listening to commentary scrawling the internet....so the real point you were trying to make was 'what excuse can I have to show my obsession with inanimate objects that relate to racing'

Not really, i was mearly curious to what items other fans have if any..Simple even for your tiny brain to understand...obviously not..
But typicaly you had to turn it into a "who can pi*s the highest" comp. im sure you will come back with a childish comment as you have to have to last word.

Infact it was only on the other page you were telling him he wasn't a real fan because has no merchandise.

In relation to the merchandise you have some cool stuff, being honest the Mclaren stuff looks much more the part, but where exactly did you get a wheel from and why? lol
LOL I bought it from a friend i know at williams F1 HQ in grove. Thought it would make a cool coffee table but havent got round to it yet.
The mclaren stuff along with the ferrari stuff, i think are great as there not the normal merchandise crap you can buy from stalls at the circuits. You can only get them from team members or people who work within the factories. :thumbsup:
I particularly cherish the West shirt as you simply cannot get hold of them anymore. It was from the era thwn all team member are supposed to destroy them once used and it was really hard for me to get a un-used one. Like i said, you cannot buy or get hold of them anywere as far as i know and for that reason i would never sell it

some cool stuff rep fair play. im a massive fan of F1 but unfortunately my income doesnt allow me to get races around the world or buy that sort of gear so hats off to you. i will one day get to silverstone for the GB GP but that time is not going to be soon as im off to live and work in New zealand, but im hoping that i can get to the Australian GP next year or 2013 as that will be epic for me.
in no way am i less a fan than you mate and yes i might not know every single detail abou tthe cars, rules, teams, drivers and tracks but i love F1 and always will and that makes me a fan in no other right.

Having a very young family prevents me from buying more stuff, not to mention im running out of space..lol. I sold a few items as you do in life to make room for new arrivals, hence me not going to silverstone last year or this. Will be going next year tho :thumbsup:
I think to sum up, F1 is all about passion and to what extents you want to go to express that passion.

I remember a friend of mine purchased a carbon brake disk supposedly off Schumi's F1 race car when he was racing for Ferrari, I had to lend him some money, cost him £700 I think it was!?

Ya see, I can defo see why he'd do that Jo.... IF the item was genuine of course, but like you say...how do you tell.
I'm going to Silverstone next year camping or hotel for the weekend (haven't decided yet), was planning on doing Canada at the last minute this year (the Friday!) but decided against it as the flights were still full price.....
Wonder who will win on sunday.. Bet its this one finger dude.. hehe
I hope not but he's having a pretty faultless season, unless the other teams have come along with some major updates or he has some kind of mechanical failure he'll be on the podium.

It would be good if someone different could win for a change. Make it more interesting. At the moment vittel is the man to beat, he is consistently good every race and by my reckoning he just needs to be on the podium for the rest of the season and would win anyway in the totting up system.

Ithink its a sure thing he will win. I mean it was proven in silverstone that when they dont use there magical rear diffuser then they are beatable. As i said earlier tho, now they have *****ed and moaned to get it returned then it will be just like race one. Red-bull 1-2. Does kinda prove the point tho that you can have the best driver in the world behind the wheel but if the car is not the fastest then you wont win.
But thats always been the case, its not just about having the best driver you have to give that driver the machine to win, look at prost in 91 when he was at ferrari, they couldnt provide a winning car for him but theres no doubting he was one of the best drivers at the time, and he was racing against some brilliant drivers too, then ferrari fired him because he moaned about having a s**t car lol.
And as for red bull getting blown diffuser back, a couple of teams moaned in the first place to get them band, they have created a car within the regs why should they be penalised for it just because there winning, and there not the only team running blown diffuser either.
Yeah i totally agree with ya there. I think its a bit harsh of people to slam schuey on his return and say he`s lost it. Personally i never liked him at Ferrari, but became a normal guy after he left i thought.. Anyways people are quick to say he`s lost it and should retire but lets face it, that Car is not the same dominant car it was at Brawn GP. I think if it was, then we would see completely different opinions from the same people who gun him down.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is you can put a half decent driver in a dominant / fastest car and they will look world class. Put them in a rubbish car and people will be quick to slam them for being rubbish..

The only thing that goes against schuey at the mo is rosberg beating him, he's still a good driver but he's not as good as he use to be. Put him in the redbull and vettel would still beat him, but agree he gets more flak than he deserves.
what has astounded me is the difference between Vettel and Webber..... I smell a rat, they haven't hardly touched each other all season, yet last year they were as good as each other.... has Vettel suddenly just become amzing in comparison? i think not :/

Yep I do think Webber gets done over a bit in that team, always seems to be his car that has failures not Sebs, then last year when Seb smashed up his new front wing so they gave him Webbers was out of order (forgot which race), and team orders at Silverstone another example.

certainly seems weird that the gap between the two is so massive compared with only a season ago.... especially when Webber has a clear chance of beating Seb, as he did for most of last season....
Reptors videos show to me (at least the last two i listened to ) that Webber was justified, in one Seb rammed him, the other he made a clear comment brought on by previous races issues.... Webber is outspoken, this does not make him a 'tool' - although there are exceptions to that rule
Its just another example of the british media ripping into a british team, because they know the idiots out there will buy trash like this, someone should point out that every other team in F1 is losing to redbull and haviing their fair share of **** ups, I dont see any articles about ross brawn failing at his job or the force india team principle being replaced because they cocked up on there pitstop at the british GP. Its just the media stiring up stuff for the sakes of a story.

Nice collection there Reptor. I havent got any F1 memorabilia but have a very large collection of model cars (some very rare).
Ive just graduated (last week) from university doing Motorsport Engineering and Design degree so hopefully will be working in the F1 industry in the near future
Wow, 1st thing I partly agree with you on. Really was bit unhappy when Button moved to McLaren but oh well. Bring back Ron and Hamilton needs his old man back to manage him.
The people who were around him and influential when he was on top of the driver boards were them.

I used to have a nice collection of Maisto 1:18 models.
67 of them to be exact. Sold all a year ago on ebay because of moving to smaller house

I have to agree with the two quoted posts. There s no real reason for Webber to be so far off Vettel like this especially to say they drive cars but yes vettle is racing well even though he is in the fastest car. But this is where the problem arises. Vettel has the pace to pull away from the start but because Webber seems to be pressured into keeping ahead of other drivers this it what he probabaly is struggling to cope with and therefore seems to be 'struggling' during races. When racing away in front as such as Vettel as done most of this season and as Schumacher did in the past seasons it means no competitive raing at all except for the rest of the pack and is one of the big main downfalls in F1 - now I know F1 is also about racing strategy but if you aren't particulary a big F1 fan, seeing a lack of competetive racing makes me truly understand why people find the sport boring (hence why I hated watching the sport during the Schumacher era because it was so predicatable.
And yes Mk1chopper you are correct - it spikes a big stir. As if to say everything teh Btitish do is wrong or we should be penalised more for everything we do.
