Yeah, why don't I go eat some hay. I can make things out of clay, or lay by the bay, I just may. Whaddya say?

I've never hit a badger but as i live out in the sticks the real car wreckers are deer!

I was in my brother's suzuki alto (yes it provides constant banter) and we hit one so hard it basically crippled the car and the deer.

After phoning the police about what to do with it (as it was writhing about in the road) the warden phoned us back and instructed us to hit it hard over the head until it was dead and throw it onto the verge as he was caught up in something else at the time....

It was a horrific experience and I have never eaten venison since...

Ok.. Just been to pick my car up and there's been a slight "development" as the garage put it! When they got the car up on the ramps yesterday afternoon, they double checked the offside prop, and found that the weight has been damaged.. They also found part of the badger's head wedged in the transmission tunnel.. They asked me if I wanted to see! But my mrs wouldn't let me!
I think you guys are right about canterbury.. That's where my car is being fixed, and they all seem a little too excited by seeing badger brains splattered everywhere!
Oh well.. One more day driving this astra diesel then back to a decent car!

To finally end this saga... I have my baby back..! They replaced the rear offside prop shaft, and the heat shield.. The bill was £1550!!!!! And I phoned to ask them when it would be ready, and they said they were about to take it through the arc car wash!!! Arrrrrrrgh! I said no, and consequently when I picked my car up it was minging! One thing iwas a little unhappy about tho, they somehow managed to get a f***ing biro mark on my fbmfsw! How they did that is anyone's guess, muppets:wtf: luckily dennis from a class valeting is currently outside with his pop up gazebo blinging her back up, lol.. Ive seen him more this year than almost anyone else! He does a wicked job though.. Although I keep wondering ifhe didn't bother with the roof would I know?!

The Government are paying people to cull badgers, maybe they will pick up the bill as you did your bit :)

Glad its all sorted Chris, Might have to see your detailing man! remember you mentioning his prices are good!!
