i really hope he sticks it out at F1 and maybe/hopefully he can get a good car to show what talent he has got in a faster car

Ok, here's your moment to shine, explain to us why Alonso is so great? leave out the two world chamionships, i think Vettel's forthcoming 2nd crown shows this doesn't mean what you think it does..... comon little man, explain to us why Alonso is so great, heres your moment to shine?
Then we'll beat you down with figures on overtakes and various other FACTS which show Hamilton to be the amazing driver he is - For me Hamilton is your modern day Senna, he drives aggressively to win not to suck the stewards off - this is shown in his stats for which he is almost always above his team mate in most situations. He is largely the reason I keep watching.

Why do you start a F1 thread when you are very CLEARLY not an F1 enthusiast. All you even do is lick Alsonos/Ferrari *** then slate Hamilton/McLaren at any stupid opportunity.
Every other member which contributes to this thread gives there knowledge and opinion on aspects in F1 in general plus the drivers which leads for an interesting thread. You just comment on Alsono and slag Hamilton. Dont know if you have noticed but there are 22 other drivers on the F1 grid.
If you haven't got anything constructive to say, don't say nothing. SIMPLE
On a happy note, well done Paul Di Resta, brilliant lap and brilliant grid position for tomorrow.
McLaren got it horribly wrong sending Hamilton out on used soft but lets hope for a rainy day tomorrow and see what he can do.

reptor your not answering animals question, "why is alonso so good"?????? tell us why he is better than every driver on the grid?
personally i have respect for nando as he is a very good driver indeed and no one can say that he is not, but the fact is lewis IS the better driver of the 2, saying that lewis slams into walls means that he is trying to push a car to its limits and not just settle for lifting to get safely round. due to the cars not been the same in pace you need to push yourself and your car to try and beat the car which is faster and lewis does this which is why he is so fantastic to watch. yes he can take silly decisions at times but thats his drive in wanting to succeed and win. there are only 2 drivers on the grid which i think are the best to watch and they are lewis and kobayashi(he is a class racer). the others are very predictable, im looking forward to seeing the race now as lewis is 10th he has weight off him and slower cars(on paper) in front of him so should be interesting. im just glad its not vettel on pole again as he is getting boring in his flying RB7.
i think with the rule changes this weekend though that some cars will struggle. hopefully it will be a dry race so we can see what difference they have made to the cars.

I want it to be dry for abit then to have abit of rain cos that always sorts the boys from the men.
Great race again, full on action throughout the whole race.

Great race and well done Alonso, definitely pulled that lead out massively over such a short space of time. Clear to me Hamilton was smashing the crap out that car with the fuel saving needed, good race by all - cant wait to see De resta in a good car

I find it hilarious how some people go to extreme lengths to prove a point that most people cant be ***** with - shall i go and find all the pics of ALonso crashing, getting fined or generally getting his *** kicked by a far superior team mate, or maybe cutting his driver off in the pits cos he spat his dummy out - some people, honestly, some people really are THAT deluded in life

Good race shame about the result, think Mclaren had it against them today and some rules need to be drawn up for radio broadcasts, seems the producers wanted to let all the other teams know what was happening at Mclaren which isnt fair and takes away from the sport on a whole. What I find a bit odd is where the pace of alonso came from, the first 3rd of the race he wasnt really matching vetel.

Sorry to disappoint you but anyone could have had that incident - you would make a perfect steward in todays F1 the way everyone is having digs at the lad. He's trying to race others and oh wait a minute... OVERTAKE just like Senna did, but let's get one thing straight - Senna got away with it all those years ago, Hamilton is getting fingers pointed at - you honestly have quite a childish attitude to post pictures and videos up like you do and then put one of Button with 'geek' eyes up. If KERS and DRS is the only way these guys should be allowed to overtake then I'm sorry F1 shouldn't be classed as motorsport racing anymore! It's called fighting for position and that's exactly what he did.
