Yes, Badger 5 does the adaptors... I run one on mine...

As Andrew suggests though, I am not sure what benefits you would get without going BT tbh...

Surely that "conversion" loses all idle control?

A proper cable throttle still has a motor inside which it uses to adjust the throttle flap to allow the car to adjust its idle speed for cold starts etc...

Andrew could you fabricate a adaptor plate for a golf 4motion TB for s3 inlet manifold? Also hows the large port custom manifold coming on?

Agu-turbo you have got a bargain indeed.

doesn't a VR6 one fit and its large in size and cable operated ?

lol funny you should say that ive just been reading on another forum and it yes it apperently does fit. looks like this r32 tb will be back on ebay lol. will try and get a vr6 2.9 tb obd2. back to the drawing board lol.

Thanks for all the reply

Golf 4motion/R32 adaptor like the one tuffty posted above??

Not touched it for some time as i'm waiting for some spare cash to come up as there are other things on the car that needs to be sorted out first

Hi yes that is true and i was going to try and retain this one way or another - but looks like the vr6 tb is the Boy!

Yeah mate, isnt the one tufty posted just for a r32 tb though? The 4motion is slightly smaller.

Tufty, you dropped the r32 tb yrt or you sticking with it?

The car is hopefully going on the dyno this weekend. I am still running the std TB atm but depending how the dynoing goes I may swap over to the R32 TB on the std mani for a direct comparison and if I get time etc I also plan to see if I can try it with the SEM inlet too... just depends on how busy Bill gets etc really..

Be good to see the comparison between the standard one and the r32 one. Hope the dyno goes good, you having a mapping session?
