UK supplier for spec.dock in ashtray

Thats an idea of what it is, he's did it himself but enfig based in america do them for around 50-60 pound, basically what it is, is a docking station copy fitted into where your ashtray is as apose to wires all over with auxilary cable

Can't stay I've ever seen an OEM one, tbh should be easy enough to make one, I did this in my old 206 and only took about an hour using a desktop dock I bought on ebay

It is a dear interior mod to be fair, i' guessing it's around 100 for the actual dock and fitting, but thats without the aux and adapter, my car hasn't got the aux fitted either which is a must for me, but i don't want wires coming from the glove box. Let me know how you get on, heres a link on a guide where someones created it themselves and to be honest, it looks better fitted and cleaner.

My only concern with this is that the iPod falls off these type of docks with the slightest movement.. I wonder how it would fair under driving conditions? Especially on that unnamed road in Mexico where we all go when we want to go faster than 70mph.....

You could fill a ipod docking adaptor to hold it in? you can buy them from apple for specific ipods. That way its seated in better rather than just being connected.

Hmm im thinking ..........Hell it ima do it sick of not having the ipod install and i dont want the oem glovebox one to much money and you cant control it well enough there must be a better solution!!
