really dont no what to do never really been able to keep a car long, get bored and want something different, now i really like my s3 but i have been offered a supercharged st 170 ford focus whats your opinions would you swap thanks matt

hmm, that sounds fun! there fairly quick in standard form!

any vid's/pics/specs of the focus?

I use to have one a few years back personally I wouldn't do it.
There's no way you will get that power down and the build quality ain't nowhere near as good as the s3!
And the dash is ugly. Keep the s3 mate

Difficult to say without knowing the spec/mileage/condition of both cars.

I worked at a ford main dealer as a mechanic for 7 years and I will say the first generation focus is a fantastic car, and VERY reliable although I have no experience of one running a supercharger.

in that case definitely NO!! if it was low spec i might consider it.

Mate noway is your s3 running 305 bhp, sorry. If its a hybrid running stage 3 software then yeah but if not no chance in hell.

305bhp on standard intercooler too, what kind of revo remap is that I definitely want one of those :p

305 at the fly wheel equates to about 260 270 bhp atw i didnt quote 305 atw in the add glad you pointed out the mistake sorry to offend you so much

I think what a few members are saying is, 305bhp@Flywheel is a bit optimistic, since the standard turbo can't produce that much power in the first place, even max'd out!

Dude why does the guy wanna swap for your s3...? Answer... The s3 is better lol ford v audi = ford sucks donkey d**k, bet the charger is made of paper maschae...lol for fun in a ford it has to be a mk1 eccey with an st170 engine running on twin carbs :) fun on the bun...!

I have to agree with dani and JoJo, you seem to have basic stage one mods, unless there's more mods I don't think your at 305 brake dude.

You would be offending us if you went for the Ford lol (Fix Or Repair Daily) I say this as my Engine Management Light has come on typical lol

thanks for the advice guys think i will stick with my s3

.... and accept that it's about 250 - 260 BHP at the flywheel....

(Sorry but that's about right)
thats fine with me now ive deciced to keep it i may go down the new turbo route

keep the audi FORD= fix or repair daily

i would only swap my audi for 1 car and that would be a skyline r33 gtr and defo not a ford also the focus is fwd loads of power = pita unless your name is badger bill

Audi...

But I had a ford before and it never once let me down, I have had my Audi 4 weeks and its let me down twice!

Electric Recaro Heated Leather/Alcantara seats aka .... Adjustable seats, Heated seats, Heated front seat, Half Leather Half Suede upholstery, Folding rear seats, Lumbar support, Rear headrests, Sports seats, Height adjustable drivers seat, Front head restraints, Electrically adjustable drivers seat, Electrically adjustable passenger seat.

These seats.... do they move forwards and backwards too? :p

Stick with the S3, there is a reason the guy wants to swap for the S3, the seats may be one of them

oh yeah and the rear wiper may have just pushed him as well, nice to see that on your S3 spec sheet :)

just copied and pasted my add from somewhere yes seats move back and forwards, like you said cookstein think its the rear wiper that did it for him :kissmyrings:
