pressure drop wise there's nothing to prove, nor cooing.. tufftys runnning the same core on the gt30 ok..
Its almost Rs500 core sized...

Its pi$$ed me off big time I have to say.. As much as I like your car, it fcuks up all my plans and bookings, domino's effect with it not being done. suppliers in general currently are all w4nkers in terms of their delivery performances and quality.. Not a happy badger!

I had an initial 8psi spike followed by 5psi across the rev range

Having spoken to Alex he hasn't come up with a final price just yet as he was trying to source a decent price on the 63mm bends

Isn't 5psi still quite a lot of a drop considering Welly managed half a PSI from his cheap eBay core?

The 63mm pipe work would be better for me as I'm already running 63mm.

Plus, you have to remember that Pauls GT30 will be flowing more air than Wellys, so is likely to highlight problems more

Hmmm. now.. AH need to "gift" this new fmic for me to want to test or publish ANY information which promotes their product. Their service thus far has fallen way below expectations, and the V1 fmic was poor from the outset in flow vs pressure drop. I am not inclined to help AH unless they pull their finger out and deliver a working fmic in a timely manner! (which is already too late time wise)

It's a real shame becuase it's incidents like this that do a company/persons reputation no good. The worse part about it Bill is it's delaying your work and therefore your rep goes on the line for the people you're holding up

Monies have not been discussed.. thats irrelevant @ this point.
I do have a Welly sized unit on order for stock, but thats a couple of days away at least.
There is no magic pill I'm afraid.

Its just perthetic service from AH/Alex - Very poor work ethic, knowing there is a vehicle off road because of their Product Failure at the end of the day...

Advise for anyone contemplating risking dealing with AH is talk to Larrs, not Alex.. Alex is a complete law unto himself, and clearly is more interested in everything else, other than intercooler fabrication,or customers deliveries.

Pitifull, completely amateur way to run a business.. It beggars belief how he does any business.

Finally got hold of Alex @ AH - latest "date", with me Weds. I will then have to weld on the 2 x 90' 63mm alloy bends onto it.. So, he's had this to do for well over a week, and despite having the opportunity to get the alloy bends in, so he can send a complete unit, he's done NOTHING. (aside from leave early leaving customers orders not done) -

I do not like dealing with folks who are blatent liars... making up many excuses re conversations had up to me calling him myself this morning... Total BS..
