Chins A4 - S Line content.

Thanks mate, means a lot ! :)

As for the engine plastics, i dont think i paid more than £40 for the scuttle panel, abs cover and batter cover and £12 for the air box cover but i got a mate @ TPS so got a discount and stuff. Ill dig out the invoice later and let you know the exact prices :) They all will fit and tbh i think the air box cover will be a better fit than in mine.

Thanks

Hey, Nice looking ride man, Not to sure I would go so low with mine since I stay in Glasgow where the roads are falling apart and have massive crators in the roads!
I Hav'nt seen a pic of your new steering wheel in the car? Did u fit it your self? I have An A4 But it doesnt have a MFSW Could you please help me to try n get fitted a MFSW. What parts would i need and where I could get it fitted?

Hi mate.

That steering wheel is a story of my life tbh, i never received it after a month or so wait and got my money back 2 weeks later thru paypal.

Im now saving up for a flat bottom one instead :)

As for the fitting, i've got a mate up here in Hartlepool (he's on here, look for jb0o) i've got his mob. number if you need it. He retro fitted my cruise control and DIS so i was gonna ask him to fit my new steering wheel as well as he's done it many times before ! It's pretty easy you just need the right tools tbh. If you haven't got the MFSW now then "I think" you might need a MFSW comfort module. See i had the MFSW but no CC or DIS which was weird but i had the "highline" ecu and all the modules in place so installing the DIS and CC was just plug & play really.

So you've fitted HIDs to head lamps that aren't designed for them and as such blinding oncoming drivers. Shocking...

So , on saturday just before DC11 i expected my 25mm spacers to arrive - they didn't. I was going to take the adjusters out as well, of course it rained all day so i've done nothing !

Anyway, had an awesome day on sunday , well worth the 450 mile round trip :)

Today straight after work i've done some bits and bobs :

Adjusters out, only lower by about 10mm so rubbers are coming out tomorrow !

Cheers :)

Nice one mate looks awesome. When you removed the rear rings was there a hole or is it just glued on? I'd like to remove mine also, looks mint!

Ive left the threaded cup part in place mate , ive only removed the adjuster rings. If i removed the cup itself then the spring would just slide all over the place coz there's no way i could secure it even with tie wraps lol The rubber ring im gonna take out tomorrow is the one that sits on top of the spring, it's a good 25mm thick !

Glad you like it matey :)

Any updates mate? when i asked above about the rear rings i meant your Audi badge from the tailgate ha ha, i thought it was pinned and glued on?

lookin sweet as always chin, did you use subway card to slide the door handle pin back in???, mines doing my head in!!!!!!

great new pics chin.out of interest what suspension set up are you running?

Your car looks the nutts mate! Considered wrapping the front grill in carbon?? PS where/what is the DNE monthly meet??

got to say car looks amazing! take it you aviod speed bumps at all costs! regarding the engine bay covers are they from audi or an external company if so what company cheers

Thanks lads , appreciate it :)

I thought of spraying the grille black but i think it goes well with the wheels and breaks the front end a bit.

as for the engine covers they're all genuine audi items :)

it wont go over speed bumps in a normal manner but there are ways of going over them :)

the other day ive tidied the engine bay a little, took the carbon wrap off the caps and sprayed them all in matt black, ripped the sound proofing of the bonnet and gave it a general clean

Chin, that car looks great :) but one question, how the **** does it not get damaged/stolen in grangetown? or is it not a mini Baghdad anymore?

No mate, wasn't her she sat in car park with my wife most of the time where strangely people where taking pictures of my car don't know why its standard part from stone chips and flies.

people think im a drug dealer so they dont touch it , i have to drive on top of 2 pieces of wood just to put a widow maker under the car so i can raise it up a bit so i can slide a trolley jack under it so theres no chance anyones gonna nick the wheels either.

i usually sleep at my girlfriends in hartlepuddle anyway so it's not in gtown all the time :]

This is the best thread ive read for a while! makes we want to fetch my cc and start spending lol, hopefully going lower on Eibach 50/40mm springs next month, and i guess thats where it starts!

Getting married next year so not a whole lot of money left to spend on the car.. hopefully after the wedding though will get allot more done!

Just a quick question about the valve you are using which make the very nice sound when changing gear... how much and wear from.. is it easy to fit?
