My trip meter lights have gone out how can i repair this

Just the lighting on the trip/odo screen or the entire dash cluster?

older clusters had little bulbs in the back of them, they've probably just blown.

Cluster out either way. Old ones use bulbs, new ones LEDs, if it's LEDs... Get cracking with a solder iron cluster is only held in with 2 bolts. Do a search and there is plenty of info on how to remove.

Oh they happen, believe me. I have a dead corner on my cluster at the mo. But the clutch replacement is more important at this point in time.
