Hi,

My Audi a4 b7 came with a RNSE satelitie navigation factory fitted, I was wondering what I need to fit the dension 500 and is it possible?

My main concern atm is how to hook up the CD changer since my car already has the Quad connector, anyone any ideas on this?

A picture guide would be appreciated!

Is this MULTIMEDIA INTERFACE AUDI RNS-E A3 A4 A6 adapter 0003 | eBay UK all I need? to fit IPOD?

Hi, do you just want to plug your ipod in and control it from the rnse?? If so, it can be done using a kufatec wiring harness, which just simply plugs into the back of the unit and the other end is connected to an 'AUX' socket, enabling a 3.5mm jack plug to be plugged in. Am having this installed into my car tomorrow, as I didnt want to remove the CD multichanger, but wanted to be able to use my ipod! The wiring harness cost around 50 quid delivered!

If you want ipod connection and keep the 6 CD changer too, put an XcarLink in. Thats what I done and everything works together fine.

The Dension Gateway 500 is for MMI based cars only (B8 A4's, A5, A7, Q7, A8 etc) Look at the Dension five, 300 or 100.

Forget the cr@p ebay adapters, check out www.kufatec.de they may cost a little more but are good quality.

I was looking at the dension 5 and was told not to bother. I think the 300 is the best option. The XcarLink looks good aswell though as a cheaper option and you can get a bluetooth module with it.

The cabling that comes with it has the plug on the end that piggy backs into the harness
