I had my passenger headlight out last week when I was fitting my FMIC and I wanted to get to the bottom of the light bouncing around every time I hit a bump.

It turns out that the little white stalk from the adjuster motor had come out of the holder on the back of the bulb fitting plate and the whole thing was swinging about like a **** in a bucket!

Anywat I tried to open the headlight for easy access and couldn't so I tried to wiggle the motor arm into the holder and ended up breaking the holder :banghead:

I also need a new holder if anyone has a spare headlight unit kicking around PM me.

Cheers

you have to gently heat them in the oven and then you can prize them apart

honest guv,

they are sealed, you need to warm the sealant to prize the lens away from the rear.

a heat gun would do the same

does the hot water trick work on these or oven best idea its true westy head lights in the oven.

would be a good one if mrs asks whats for tea erm ......... head light lol

White for sure, as syvo says same process in reverse to seal them, but you may want to seal them again just in case.
