That is the one benefit I get from having lag - WMI doesn't fire up till about 4K, meaning under normal driving, it just sits there and does nada.

You know what the under bonnet temps are like on these cars let alone on a day as hot as Sunday was.

I let my car sit on the drive for 10 mins yesterday switched off while I went and got changed. When I cam back out and opened the bonnet it was crazy! I couldn't touch the inlet mani.

2. new tuned corrola - beat
3. mk5 R32 - beat
4. old ibiza cupra r - stripped out c.280 brake etc. - lost - I launched better he came back at me
5. new remapped diesel a5/7 coupe looking thing - lost - same
6. red 8L s3 - beat
7. Ibiza Bocanegra - stage 2 - beat
8. v12 diesel Q7 - beat
I can't remember the other 2

I would have nuked my clutch. I tried launching it a few weeks ago and the clutch couldn't clamp, it just produced a LOT of smoke and stinkyness.

OEM clutch struggling to tame 330 ftlbs unsurprisingly. I must get a good one.

The inlet mani is cold after a run because the new cooler is doing it's thing, but leave it to sit for 10 mins and soak up the heat and you could cook on it!

I dont think painting my rocker cover, charge pipe, and inlet mani black has helped the cause!

yeah im on 16 psi at the mo so I dont imagine the torque is monsterous.

Mine will probably go at some point (it's only 6-9 months old) at which point Ill swap it for senior Tufftys set up

That's my plan on Friday. Get Bill to setup with no more than 19psi.

It'll keep your blower much happier and the heat down as well.
