The next mod to the audi is going to be a rs4 grill, ive seen pictures of the fog light grills that have the cross hatch grills aswell, are these off the shelf jobbys or do you have to custom make them?

Thinking of having the number plate section painted same colour as the car aswell, which i think will look quite smart

Also if people have any part numbers and prices for me :)

The fog grilles I did myself. I bought some honeycomb mesh from ebay (was about £40 posted from Germany), then just cut out to correct shape and siliconed into place. Looks the dogs.

Gary's way is the only way as there aren't any off-the-shelf RS4 grille's that fit.

sound lads, anyone got pics of this mod done?

yes s-line ones pull out

they look well smart lads, next thing on my list, gunna order some of the mesh, then once av got spare coin for an rs4 grill get it all done at once.

Also im thinking of painting the number plate section on the grill same as the car, will i have to smooth any of it off, or are number plate wholes just in the centre?

Might have to bang a cupra splitter on it aswell

looking smart that pal!

so im looking around £200 complete for the rs4 grill?

Rather than painting that bit, have you considered having it wrapped?? Just had mine done, as well as the seat splitter, all wrapped in carbon 3M, looks the nutts, even if I do say so myself! lol

I had my one ov my cars roof and bonnet black viynal'd and i just ended up painting it, so was jus gunna save the time and paint it straight away like, even tho i do like the look of the 3M carbon (had my old saxos bonnet done LOL)

sound job, is that complete? like all the things ill need to fit?

All you need is an S-Line bumper. You'll get an RS4 grille and an aluminium surround (you will probably want to swap it with your current black/chrome surround). The chrome Audi rings are already on the RS4 mesh.

Is it possible to get an RS4 grille with a black surround or does it only come with the chrome

Sound, my bumper is a sline one :)
What about the number plate thing? do i use my original one or does one come with that?

Your S-line one will fit although it will be slightly different colour, not that anyone will notice. I wrapped mine in Di-Noc carbon vinyl.

ah right thats great, ill be smoothing and painting the same colour as the car anyway, nice one pal!

Nice one mate, How difficult are these to fit & are you happy with quality ?

any leaks or damp. also can you use xenon kit in this ?

sorry for all these questions.

Ok, first off I aint got them yet

I have asked the seller about them. They are plug and play, no need to chop wiring, splice in etc. Truly plug and play. Only thing is you'll need to remove the bumper
These are the identical lights as sold by Dectane in Germany (ebay seller and Dectane use same suppliers from Taiwan), the quality is good.
Can't give you an answer re water ingress but I would've thought highly unlikely.
Finally, yes you can use Xenon kits in these. They are the projector type headlights so don't throw the beam out in every which way like reflectors do.
I'll be getting mine when they get the chrome ones back in stock (don't think the black ones will look right on my car)

EDIT: Oh, one more thing. I sent an ebay buyer who had bought some from this seller a message to ask his opinion on them. Turns out he is a member on another VAG forum and on here too now and again (dont know his username), and he said the quality is good and the DRL's are well bright. All good
