Your turbos still spiking.....is it still set low from unisettings?
Im Not sure what to say about them logs...mine drops on boost not off boost...lol, as soon as the turbo spools the temps drop very quickly
Nice Air flow, for a stage 1 you cant argue with that....
 
This whole setup was about £200 all in. Cutting the bumper is a pain in the **** but 99% of fmic installs need a little bit of trimming. I think that if the core had smaller ins/outs between 50-55mm it would have been a lot easier to get the bumper and trim on. I only used 63mm because the standard smics use 63mm.
You even have to trim when you buy the 2nd mortgage forge IC
 
What wer your temps before mate? How does it feel to drive, can you tell any difference?

Temps were a good 5 degrees higher before and the heat of the inlet mani after a run was quite noticeable. I only did a quick 20 min blast but the car does feel stronger.

yeah load in uni settings is down at 90% to stop the turbo hitting 25psi it's holding around 17-19psi at the mo! Should get that all sorted at Bills next Friday.
The max heat in my log was at redline then it drops right back down to 24 degrees as soon as the heat pump is off boost. I don't know if that's right or not but my log before with the smic I was seeing nearly 40 degrees on full chat.
 
I've looked through the following list and I think I can set the AC screen to show AITs so I can check them without having the laptop constantly plugged it:

Press and hold the recirculation button. Then press the manual flow control up arrow. You should see a 1c. Press the temperature up ("+") or down ("-") buttons to select a code number. Then press the recirculation button again. The value should display. Press the temperature up or down button again to display another code.

NOTE: Air Flow Motor (V 71) and Potentiometer (G 113) are not installed in USA/Canada vehicles. Disregard values displayed for these components.

haha, and which of those codes are you thinking will show you IAT's Westy?

I'm 98% sure they're all aircon related codes, aside from engine speed, cooland temp, and vehicle speed.....
 
As Nick has said, all this lot is aircon related and nowt to do with IAT's... G89 is a sensor used near the pollen filter IIRC...

Thats why I have a Liquid gauge :D

no4 is the fresh air intake temp, as Paul said, near the pollen filter :(

Liquid logs IAT's on graphical form very nicely though, and you can freeze the graph at any point and take a photo to record results if you so wish.

it does the same for actual vs requested boost too, which is very handly.

Well you'll definitely need a liquid guage then to keep an eye on your engine as it'll probably blow up fairly quickly ;)

Well it's happened! Some pikey kids have nicked my audi dust caps for their bikes. If I find them I'll be removing their testicles!

The FMIC is also holding up quite well in today's heat but I think I have a slight boost leak somewhere as it feels like it's poising power after about 15PSI. I'll be nipping up all the clamps again.
 
Why didn't you get the ones with the little alan key for tightening them on?
 
That is cheeky, I got some with the alan key for £4.50 so not too bad and they can't get them off haha

I had a set of them once... the grubscrews rust and you can't get them out... fecked 2 valves in between tyre changes and gave up on them in the end... I used these due to pikey's pinching my previous set...

I say so it South African style.... 10000 volts through them. If anyone touches them - k bye..... lol.
