What do you do then mate?

I work for a motor factor as a partsmen, dealing with the trade over the phone. But hopefully next week i will be backing off the phones when i take up the job of call centre manager within a sister company.

Whilst the missus was bathing the little one, I thought I'd get on with waxing one of my alloys in the dining room. The woman had the :wtf: look when she came down stairs! lol, I just carried on anyways, taking no notice. Second stage was waxing the inside of the rim, the woman gave me a double :wtf::wtf: this time round, then said 'you spend more time and effort on those stupid alloys than you do me' lol.... I think I'm in the doghouse tonight.

Here's a sneak preview anyways.

Its a brilliant idea to drink on a school night.
Getting up the next day is the bad idea.

I got told off for putting car stuff in the dish washer.

I would like to just rest my head on the desk and have a little snooze.

Shame i cant put my whole car in the dishwasher to clean it!

Thats called a car wash.
There is loads of them up and down the country.

LOL

Yep my car has popped through them a couple of times, in fact literally twice since ive owned it. Which is just about 7 months, and ive not washed it by hand either! 2 washes in 7 months isnt so good , bad me!

Morning all,

Just got back from my pre-holiday hair cut, sail on Saturday counting down the hours :yahoo:

Not sure what is on the books today but I'm pretty much up to date with everything, so if the clients stay quiet, I may be in for a nice quiet day.

Dane sorry to hear that you didn't get the job, keep your chin up - there'll be a better one along.

Paul

The wife texted me this morning asking when I'm going to stop spending money on the car or at least slow down.
I can't think of a answer to that apart from "When I'm dead."
I don't think thats the best come back but it gets the point a cross.

Tell her that you haven't got much more to buy for it till it's sorted. I've been saying this for over a year ;)

Tell your girlfriend she can come and live with me, as i spend very little on my car!!

And this strawberry yoghurt is not fulfilling my needs!Anyone want to bring me a dirty greasy breakfast roll!

That's quite good.

All these parking aids are just helping people out and nobody will be able to parallel park the old fashioned way in a few years. That new ford parks itself for you! Women of the future will be f*cked

Hopefully women of the future will start developing as many electrical aids as a car,so then we can tune them to how we want them!

They good to help people out that should not be on the road in the first place.

My standardised response for those questions are 'When you stop buying makeup, having hair cuts that cost £100, and stop going out on the lash'.

End of conversation.

I like that response Welly.

My haircut cost me £8 and you can tell it's been done. The mrs comes back after parting with £80 and her hair looks the same!

As for makeup! £12 for mascara WTF

EXACTLY my point dude. It's a winner. How can they moan about spending money on cars, when they are just as bad on sh1t like that?

Thats my argument as well when its needed.
But since she hardly ever wants any thing and don't like me buying her things I tend not to use it very much.

Sh!t on my from a great hight I'm bored.

Jojo they look like RSTT's mate...

Cheers for the Kind words Paul, I have another in the pipeline, so I think I'll do that as a stop gap and keep looking.

Im quite lucky that my missus doesnt spend a lot of money on all that kind of stuff, shes a good wife!! She had even learnt to ask me before she buys to make sure we have the money!

Ive trained her well!

I would say the A3/A4 wiould never become a classic, i dont think its just an age related thing.

Well as my Mrs is self funding and earns the same as me - I don't have that problem

I'm just waiting on a group buy on a Miltek as I just can't justify paying full price for one.

£8 hair cut for me too.
