BLACK EDITION GRILL OR S3 GRILL ON A 2009 SPORTBACK SPORT

My grill got damaged and i have a choice of these two grills to put on my 1.8t sport.
which one do you think would suit a very dark grey/black car.

I would never want to mod a car to a state where it looks like something it isn't.

The Black Optic pack does appear to be an option and is standard on the BE. If you go for S3 Grill it looks a little sad to me.

i already have both the BLACK grill & the S3 grill in my hand.
its very hard to find a good second hand standard grill and a new one will cost me more £££.

ive seen some A3's with s3 grills but the s3 badges were replaced with s-line badges.

Yeh but... the S3 Badge is a different size to S-line and it will look Naff Naff to those of us in the know.

See my earlier post and stick with what should or could have been fitted at the factory. ;-0

Yeh but... the S3 Badge is a different size to S-line and it will look Naff Naff to those of us in the know.

Simple mod that would make the Sline badge look factory on an S3 grill, I fitted S3 kit because its the only bodykit on the market that actually makes the 8P look any good, doesnt make me want it to be an S3, rest look like they've been blutacked on, basically crap, votex included.

I've just purchased a S3 grill for my09 a3 s line (cheers paullie) cause I don't like the 09 grill think it looks boring,so how did you modify the S3 badge to accommodate the s line badge nigel,did you trim the S3 badge holder down to a similar size as the s line badge ?

I simply removed the S3 stuck on bits from the grill badge plate, then stuck an sline badge in its place using double sided sticky padded tape, hasnt budged since & looks totally oem

Its the double sided sticky pad tape that you cut to length, I use it all the time for gps antenna's in dash of cars.
