Had an 8L S3, a B5 RS4 now I have a B8 S4
Hit a mahooosive pothole last night that was 3" deepbuckled 2 alloys, 2 flat tyres, suspension doesn't sound good, tracking is out, car pulls to the left and wheel wobble under braking
Lucky i had my camera and a ruler (have no idea why) in the boot so i could get some pics
Letter going off to the council today for some monies please
It was this big!

It was a mofo of a pothole!!! I saw it coming and just knew it wasn't going to be a good one...
Nah not selling her yet, got some good plans once the house is finalised!!! My guys at Ford have quoted £2,342.03 to get her fixed. Realistically it'll cost me about half that to get the replacement parts and get it fixed up, i told them to go nuts with the damage report

My mate got a payout from the council when he buckled a wheel. It's a ****** joke though the size of the holes around.

Does it re-register your phone after? I was going to use green pois0n, is redsn0w better would you say?
So they will pay out then?? Iv got a few dings from the bomb holes around my way.
Take it I'd need time stamped evidence.

Yes mate if you have pics, a well structured letter and genuine quotations from a garage then they will usually pay out
I've got pics of the pothole with a time and date stamp on them, showing the road with the hole, how deep the hole is, damage to my wheels, tyres and various other bits
Got a quote from a Ford dealer which is as long as my arm for all the replacement parts, a strong yet fair letter stating that i want compensation for the amount and a response within 28 days. They don't really have a chance of getting out of it
Councils now pay out more in compensation than they do in fixing the roads, so get what ya can!

Yep but totally safe, most stable jailbreak out and it don't **** with Yr wifi like some. Bit of a pain to do via pc but plenty of tutorials to follow on YouTube. Sounds wierd but it seems to have sped up my 3G too. But that could be down to new OS.

Just downloaded it and reading the instructions. I need to update my iTunes and my OS first though.
Do I need iTunes installed on my machine here as I only have it on my home PC but the instructions dont mention needing it to jailbreak the phone!?

Back it up first on one pc then upgrade through iTunes. Then follow you tube vid is best, and yeh you'll need i think. But saying that you might not as you do some funky button pressing to access the files on the phone.
You tube search redsn0w there's a bid with links to DL's you can get all files, I tunes and cydia. Like I said it's a bit of a pain but good once done. I'm thinking of whacking windows emulator on maybe. See how my mates goes first haha. Where you getting Yr apps from. I'm using apptracker atm.

I haven't jailbroken for ages (last time was on my 1st ipod touch). When installing apps via cydia is it still a long slow pain in the *** to uninstall apps if you don't want them??

Are all apps from the app store available on cydia???
WHAT a difference it has made to the Android. WOW. Seriously, so so much faster and battery life is already so much better.

I love mine. My missus used to have an iPhone until I got a free Galaxy S (long story). Even she LOVES hers now as well.
I rate it highly, good bit of kit. I rate it higher now with Gingerbread installed.
Fantastic.
Everything is black and Neon green. Only subtle little tweaks, but all come together very nicely.
