Side Project..

With having all our time taken up with Project GTI http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/detailing/120811-project-gti.html We have had very little time to sort out a side project which we are trying to get ready for GTI Inters in June.

Sunday being a day of rest (NOT) we spent a little time repairing and cleaning the Recaro Seats ready for fitting ..

Both of the front Seat's had damage to the plastic side panel trims & Pocket trims.

So after tracking down some good 2nd hand trim panel's over the past few months it was time to replace the damaged items.

STRIPPING DOWN

Side Hinge & Pocket Trim Removed.

New 2nd Hand trims fitted.

Using a Nail Brush & The Gliptone Twins

50/50

Very Pleased with the final results being that the leather is over 14 years old. Once cleaned we fitted some new plastic guides.
