So it started off with me seeing it on ebay and i messaged the guy to see how much he would take, got it for 650 in the end. when i arrived after a 2 hour drive i was shocked tbh because it looked like a dog!
Here is the pics from when i picked it up

The final result was just unreal, the transformation was amazing. I bought a debadged grille and had 2 s-line badges with s-line valve caps to finish her off.

Nice transformation!

What engine does it have? FWD or Quattro?

Personally i'd ditch the S badges and get some facelift headlamps to freshen the front end up.

Thanks for the comment. It's a 1.8 turbo sport. I like the s badges, would look too plain without them.

as aragorn said, facelift headlamps make a huge difference.

But generally, thats a great transformation. Those wheels are loverly  are they actually a "gunmetal/anthracite" or is it the light

Yeah they are gunmetal,a Audi paint code but forgot which one. I'm not a Chav but do like the badges. Also do the facelift lights actually fit being one complete unit? No mods needed to fit them?

Well done! Big improvement!

Crying out to be lowered and have the headlamps done. Will look great then.

I'm with aragorn on the S badge tho. Would look better without IMHO.

What you got planned next? I only just bought mine a month or two ago. It's in the body shop next week for a similar makeover. Will post some pics up myself when it's done.

Well I would like to do the facelift headlights as I didn't know they would fit, from which model can I get them from 2000?
Also I would like-
Lower the front ( I got a trailer for holidays so won't lower the back)
Full exhaust system
Remap
Fmic
Air filter (I have one but won't run right with the maf plugged in) help??
It has a splitter valve but want a louder one!!!

Thanks for your kind words. I'm truly impressed the way she has come out for 250 quid lol

Facelift are 1997-2001 so any will do just search on eBay facelift a4 headlights.
Also on the S badge not to keen as it just looks like something out of place, also the splitter is not great as I have one and can't hear it unless window is down, I keep fiddling with the adjuster keep cranking it up and it seems a lot better when booting it !
What's the problem with the filter ??

It runs like a sack of s**t when I put it on with the maf plugged in. Is it something to do with airflow? Unplug the maf and there is so much less power! Any ideas??
Where is the adjuster on the splitter?? It's a forge one.

You just turn the top where the vac pipe is connected there's 4 raised points turn it clockwise you will here it click !! It sounds better with a cone filter !!

Any ideas why my filter makes it run bad? I =f i keep the maf plugged in it will stall when revved..... if i unplug it then it low on power and not boosting as it should???? Anyone?

Facelift is mid 1999 to 2001 Valeo lights you need

The Forge is probably leaking air into the system and creating problems

TBH the air filter is probably show the MAF as faulty, if it runs better unplugged, the MAF is duff, but the ECU is in limp home mode and gives very little boost

You need a new MAF, also avoid oiled air filters as they destroy MAFs for fun. Also i would not buy a cheap MAF, go OEM or you will regret it...

Amen to that. Went through 4 cheap MAF's in 3months, now I have a Bosch OEM one, been no problem. Definately worth the extra expense. It will last!

Just been out a fixed a leak in the T peice that connects to the boost gauge and played about with the dv goes so much better!

I took the filter off and went back to standard airbox in the end,it's plugged in and runs fine without the cone filter on. Weird!
